Nice scope - 2 years ago it could be had for about $390 now $550 - same scope, not any better - the AO is touchy, scope comes with mil increments suitable for 55 grain 5.56 loads but Leupold will sell you a mil elevation dial intended for their Patrol scope for $35 should you want to use another caliber - making it a total of $585 . Great Leupold bright clear optics & easy use dials. I have 4 of them. I would now look at the Leupold 6-18X40 Freedom scope. Price should be $400 for the old discontinued AR Mod 1. .

I needed more target resolution than the 3x9 Rifleman scope gave me on a .225 Winchester sporter. The Mark AR Mod 1 6x18 was the right size for the rifle, on 18x with the adjustable objective the resolution is crystal clear. There was another reason I bought this scope, it was made in the US and I have over 20 Leupold scopes some have needed repair and service is always top notch.

I mounted this to my AR. I used it at a range and the combo works great at 100 yards - which is the max for the range I go to. I'm very interested to see how both perform at further distances. My only frustration with it was trying to find flip up lens covers. There are tons of Leopold flip ups and the product literature on the website is pretty frustrating. I figure for another $100 on top of the price of the scope it'd be a pretty easy process. Big picture - that's a nagging issue = but a very small one.

Superb accuracy, fire dot function when motion is sensed, makes this scope unique. Tough, durable, accurate, has all the features that could ever be needed. Accurate up to 700 yards with .223 caliber. Great product!!!!!!!!

This jewel is one my AR-15 and its sweet, can't believe how easy it is to change ranges around and always be on target. Leupold never ceases to amaze me. Happy shooter indeed.

I like everything about this scope, I personally prefer green over red. The price point on this was amazing for what you got. I own 2 of them and I hope they run forever now that it's no longer available.

Product is predominantly used at the range and some varment hunting. It is currently mounted to a Remington 700P SA chambered in .223. Glass is clear, and as far as I can tell it holds zero well. However, I had plans to use the platform and scope soon after purchase. But the scope has an imperfection in the glass. what appears to be a drop of mercury stuck on the inside of the glass.

Great clarity, you can add a custom turret for a non AR load. Lifetime no questions asked warranty is the best.

What I do like: The MILDOTS are nice and traditional military style, a big plus for me, simplicity is best for the MILDOT system, too many other companies are just going with the flow and switching to MILRAD which I hate. And being a basic scope without a bunch of unnecessary features that seem to be the norm is nice too. The only down side (for me), the P5 dial set up is calibrated to 55 grains, none of my .223 or 5.56 rifles shoot 55 grains well. Having to order custom elevation knobs (I own two of these scopes), with simple MILs and no BDC really raised the price for me, so in the long run it really wasn't a "budget scope" for my income. And having to use the annoying tiny allen wrench to make the 0 (Zero) line up is a pain, I have a competitors scope (that has been discontinued) had a tool free zero set.....but oh well, American made is best!

It is a good scope for the long distance shooters or hunters. But the clarity is not as good as Leupold VX Freedom specially at late evening .But if you you are looking for a scope to hunt / shoot at day time then this is the scope for you at a moderate price and excellent settings. Easy to operate and understand.

This is an excellent scope. It was relatively easy to sight in. Very accurate. I would have given 5 stars, but I don't like the fact that Leupold scopes don't come standard with bikini lens covers; even cheap ones would be nice.

The first Mark AR 3-9x Firedot-G TMR that I purchased was for a 223 Wylde AR. I liked it so much I now have 6 of them mounted on everything from 22 LR to a 375 Ruger. The Firedot-G TMR is a very practical reticle that isn't cluttered with nonsense. Initially I was concerned that the non-locking turrets would be easy to bump inadvertently. I just went on a 15 day Kodiak brown bear hunt and in spite of climbing through alder jungles on steep mountainsides, my turrets never moved a single click. My father-in-law liked my Mark AR's so much that he bought one to put on his 50+ year old 300 Weatherby that he's used since he was a kid. That scope and some handloads turned that old rifle into a sub-MOA shooter. I've owned a lot of Leupold scopes over the years and I genuinely think this is the best value priced scope they make.

I have this scope on my Colt M4 and it works great. The tactical turrets are awesome. Glass is really clear at all magnifications.

I put one of these on each of my precision rifles since 2010. Why? I require a simple mildot, 100% tracking, a minimum of 15X, and I don't need illumination. It's a pretty simple choice. My only gripe is that they are equipped with a 55 grain turret. I always order a plain .1 mil elevation turret from the custom shop.

For this price point I am extremely pleased with this scope. My only complaint is the exposed turrets do not lock. Glass quality and clarity is breathtaking! Green firedot is crisp and clean. Illumination is bright even with a cloudless summer afternoon setting! I run and gun with this optic so it's taking some physical abuse. Not a single scratch to the finish and is holding a perfect zero after 3000 rounds.

Can't say enough good things about this scope. Light, great glass, accurate adjustments, good low light performance. Leupold knocked it out of the park with this one.

You sent me one of these scopes to replace one that was no longer in production. I put it on a Remington VTR rifle in Win. .308. It set up very well. Last 4 shots in 1" bull at 100 yds. Three of which were in same hole. Your service was great and I will be using your products in the future.

Best scope I've ever owned
By 2/75 E.
This scope with the green firedot is super clear and clean. The eye relief is amazing and I prefer it over my 1-8x vortex. Just because of the quality of the entire scope. In my unit(army) we use elcans 1-4x and this scope is way beyond that 2k+optic. It's a must buy
