I bought this to replace

I bought this to replace my 6 MOA version that I purchased in late 2022. That optic has seen some rough use, from being dropped on concrete and gravel, to banged up in a vehicle. It has also endured over 10,000 rounds of 9mm on a pistol. I have all manner of optics from Sig, Trijicon, Holosun, and others. This is my absolute favorite pistol optic and my go-to on and off duty.

I have the delta point

I have the delta point pro on a few of my firearms (my 2011, 10mm and my benelli SBE3 12 gauge turkey gun) and they are all working without incident! Year after year I rely on them and they save time and money. I will look forward to using them on any other firearms as I need them. I say Leupold I thank you for such high quality.

Wide viewing window, which makes

Wide viewing window, which makes it easy to acquire, but the red dot is not a sharp as other models and I'd like to see an easier transition or more. Intuitive transition in regards to brightness of the dot.

I sent my slide and my Delta Point pro down to Vulcan Machine works to get it cut for the Delta Point Pro And mounted. Love the sight , but , havent got it back yet. I will review when I do. Thank you.

Poor

Bought the Delta point, Pro mounted it on my handgun and was unable to get zeroed in called support. They blame me. They blame my pistol, but in the end it was the circuit board they replaced and now I got it cited in customer service is poor.

Best Red dot on the market

I love my PD pro red dot and by fare is the best there is was a lot of RD involved I have had a lot of Red Dot and this one is the best on the market you won't go wrong and made in the Us and their customer service is the best I have on a bunch of my shotguns rifles and pistols, and won't go back to anything else . . you won't be disappointed.

My Delta Point Pro has

My Delta Point Pro has a bad "star burst". I called customer service and talked with the representative and was told that it was my eyes that had the problem, not the Delta Point Pro. I also own an Aimpoint Red Dot, and several Holsun Red dots. Non of the other brands starburst or smear. When other people look at the sight it also starburst. So the Leupold representative was wrong, or my eyes only cause starburst of the red-dot only with the Leupold Delta Point Pro. I own several other Leupold scopes (conventional glass) and I love them. Only the Delta Point Pro (red dot) is giving me problems. This product (Delta Point Pro) is causing me grief.

Canting

Mounting plate taper/cant: The mounting plate itself has a taper, causing the optic to cant downward, affecting the ability to zero due to insufficient upward adjustment. Why Leupold ?

I have had this for

I have had this for a while now. I have 5,000 rounds through it at this point on a Glock 19. I have used just about every brand of optic you can think of. I am LE and use an RMR for work. This optic has been just as rugged and has taken an abuse from me. I have been taking the slide with the optic, off my hand off my belt, off my holster, off any object around me. I've run it in several holsters, OWB, IWB, level 2 and 3 duty holsters. I've shot daytime, nighttime. This thing has become, hands down my favorite optic!! I love it!! Bigger window than the RMR but more rugged than the SRO. Top loading batter is awesome! Glare reduction is great! I am a firearms instructor and gun enthusiast. I mean this with all sincerity. Best optic for the money and WILL be buying more.

Great sight but needs to

Great sight but needs to be updated. Reconfigure the brightness button somewhere so that its operation does not block the glass when pressed; in its current location the glass and emitter is blocked when the button is pressed so you have to keep pressing and completely moving your finger away to be able to observe changes made. The footprint is also not great and doesn't match a stock Glock MOS.

I knocked off a star

I knocked off a star because the battery compartment design is flawed. If you open it in the wrong direction it sends the locking pin into orbit. At the very least, the directions could clearly state which direction the battery door release latch should be moved. And the process of reinstalling the latch requires 3 hands!

I have these dots on my G17 which I shoot IDPA with and have over 2000 rounds shooting my Glock. The dot holds true and is crisp at all brightness settings. I also have the same dot on my G19 which I use for concealed carry and shooting IDPA. The Delta on my G19 lost it's dot and I sent it to Leupold and they fixed the problem and it's back on my G19.
