NOTHING on the market like this set up with your red dot or the Leupold options. 6 degrees of eye movement between the two. Enough said!

This is an amazing scope. I had a really hard time weather to invest in an Acog or get the D-evo. Ended up going with that D-eve because of the 6x ( better able to spot hits/misses) and the low profile that it has when mounted. Running a delta point pro in front of the scope. I can easily go out to 600 meters with a 5.56 62 grain open tip brass round from Winchester. I love this scope. But it does have its quirks. Just like the Acog it has a very small eye box that isn't very forgiving if not properly set up. I wish this scope was illuminated.

Great product! I bought both the LCO and the D-EVO and use it on my .308 rifle. The LCO and the D-EVO are a perfect match. Using it is intuitive and the fixed 6x magnification is just fine. Image is crisp and clear, and the bullet drop compensated reticle with range estimation is really precise. Incredibly easy to operate. However, there are two aspects where the D-EVO needs improvement: one, the reticle ends at only 600m, and there is plenty of empty space below the 600m mark when looking through the D-EVO - why not extend the reticle to 800m or 1000m? Would make it much more precise at ranges beyond 600m. two, the reticle is poorly visible in low light or night time conditions - a gentle illumination would make it much more useful at dawn, dusk, or even at night. When looking at the LCO, theres only two things I would improve: one, less light exposure from the frontal aspect. If you will ever get to use it in a hostile environment, don't set it to really low brightness level, it's a decent beacon to tell the enemy where you're at. two, a brightness setting in between level 4 and 5 (one too dark, next a little too bright in some situations)

Another great product from Leupold. The D EVO combine with the LCO is the perfect combination for coyote hunting. If it's close, use the LCO, if it's far use the D EVO, all while maintaining proper cheek weld and not having to adjust focus, parallax, or magnification. Put simply its perfection.

I put the DEVO / LCO combo on my patrol rifle about a year ago. I've grown to love it. For a backup sighting system I put a Crimson Trace laser grip / light on it. Super fast with the laser, gets me to the LCO and then for accuracy the DEVO x6 is right there. Only fits in our vertical rifle racks. As I get older that 6x becomes even more important to me.

But it has no provisions to be compatible with back-up or transition sights. It does not come with a QD mount.Nor is it compatible with weapon mounted night vision.Until these issues are addressed in a up dated version I'll stick with the Elcan Spectre Dr in 4x and 6x for Carbine applications.

Revolutionary solutions require original thinking. Leupold engineers have innovated again with the all new Dual-Enhanced View Optic (D-EVO). A unique, innovative design allows the 6x20mm D-EVO to be paired perfectly with the Leupold Carbine Optic (LCO) or virtually any red dot sight, to deliver a bold aiming point for reflexive shots and a magnified image for long-range precision with the mere movement of your eye. The exclusive Close Mid-Range Reticle with Wind Holds (CMR-W) allows users to successfully estimate range and engage targets with greater precision, speed and flexibility and the hold-overs are compatible with 5.56/.223 and 7.62/.308 cartridges.
The reticle features a 0.5 MOA dot surrounded by a 5 MOA circle, mil-based ranging features and windage hold points. The D-EVO utilizes minimal rail space, is waterproof to 66 feet and is backed by the Leupold Gold Ring Lifetime Guarantee.
