Excellent clarity, holds zero, sighted my rifle in 5 years ago when I purchased the scope, and haven't had to touch it since, been on countless whitetail hunts with it both in the stand and participating in drives, this scope is an absolute work horse

I have two vx3i 4.5-14x50. I hunt whitetail I sit in a field so I take long range shots. These scopes are so clear, clean and crisp. I put a 2.5 inch shade on it they work great in low light or sunny conditions. I recommend everyone to get one of these

I?ve been a Leupold fan and customer since my college days in Montana in the eighties. Over the years I did acquire other vendor products for my hunting and target rifles, only to revisit the optics on half of them and re-equip with Leupold scopes. My interest lately has been long range, accurate and repeatable performance, not to mention lighter overall weight of rifles. Lugging 9.5 lb rifles is a thing of the past. Now I go for 6.5-8 lb. setups and can mostly achieve them with Leupold scopes. The Leopold scopes are the lightest, clearest, excellent CDS turrets with generous eye relief that you can buy. I never had to worry about the toughness. They took everything I dishes out in rugged terrain handling and never had to re-zero. I don?t see the need to spend more money for the European kinds. With a total of 17 Leupolds so far I have the piece of mind of great warranty and support from Leupold, which I actually never had to use!

I was a little late to the game on getting one of these scopes since it was discontinued. I was running a Vortex viper hst on my 26 Nosler for 6 years. Never liked the open R/L turret on it and its caused me a few poor placed or missed shots. I put a 6.5-20 LRP on it because it came with a better zero stop and a cap for the R/L turret. The glass is fantastic, zero stop is easy to set, and its lighter than the viper. I sited in to 1.5in high at a 100, was zeroed at 200, rang gongs from 300-500 with dailing then back to 100 to check to see if it came back to 1.5in high. It tracked perfectly. I wish it wasn't discontinued or I would pick one up for my 6.5PRC.

I'm very impressed with the clarity from this scope. The magnification is amazing. I zoomed in on a cow 120 yards away, I was able to focus in and count the flies on her back. Wow! I would 100% buy this scope again.

Mounted on a Tikka T3X CTR in .308 Win. Perfect combination of magnification, weight, size. The Tikka is fast-handling and the Leupold VX3i 2.5-8x 36mm scope is a very effective complement. Most of my shooting is within 100 yards (never more than 150 yards) and this scope provided quick acquisition. I think a higher magnification would have hindered acquisition. Eric from your Sales Department gave a wonderful recommendation for Leupold rings to go with this scope. Altogether, very happy! Thank you.

For the price of this scope, I expect windage and elevation adjustment dials that precisely reference a tick mark on the scope body itself. Instead, you get dials that don't even have an obvious tick for 0 and nothing on the scope body itself as a point of reference as to where you are in the dial rotation. On top of this, the threads for the locking focus eyepiece are covered in grease which will just attract dust and grit. I cannot think of any scope I've ever come across that exposes grease in this area, even cheap ones. Plus side is it's very light and the glass is nice. Eye relief is good enough. Clicks when you do adjust the dials are positive, but I need dials that tell me the information I need to know - these don't.

Put this on my new rifle and and got zeroed so far. Worked on the zero on another rifle with a different brand of scope, with comparable features, at the same time and the quality of the leupold scope was "CLEARLY" better, see what I did there? Setting the zero stop was effortless, and the amount of light this lets in is fantastic. I can't say enough good things about the leupold scope and their great customer service. I am putting this scope on my M1A Super Match and wanted a quality scope for it, that fits my budget. Of all the different manufacturers, I found Leupold to be the best for the money I spent. The scope I chose will be able to find its target, and with its large magnification, will let me see beyond, which is important to anyone shooting. I am looking forward to my next time shooting with this combination.

I put the 4.5-14x40mm with the B&C reticle on my Winchester Model 70 I had custom made to a 280AI. This is a great shooting rifle and I have owned nothing but Leupold for years and this one did not disappoint either. So far it has a cow elk, whitetail buck, antelope doe, and a really nice grizzly bear. All were one shot. I have never had an issue or problem with any Leupold scope ever! They are rugged and Leupold stands behind them although it's doubtful that you will need to use the warranty. If they ever stop making them here in the USA though I will never purchase another Leupold. Buy it you will not be disappointed.

My scope is used for hog hunting. Have used leupold scopes for years it is my opinion they are the best scope made and I use no other. Great crafted product and I have always been satisfied. If you have never used one you need to give them a try and you will see exactly what I am talking about.

I have this on a Savage 12 in .308. Good clarity at longer distances. Lack of a zero stop is the only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars.

This scope does as excellent job of collecting light and the clarity at all magnifications is superb. It is mounted on a Ruger Hawkeye Hunter 204. The marriage of the two has created a tack driver. Yes I would buy again.

I use this Scope on my 25-06 Remington 700. Love the impact-60 Reticle, works great for holdovers and varmint shooting. I have had zero issues with the scope. I am rough on the rifle and the zero holds true. Love the knob and the turrets.

Glass is very clear and so far its a great scope, I haven't had a chance to hunt with it yet so I can't give a full review but the only thing I would change is a little bigger reticle, its hard to see at certain times, other than that its a great scope
