Bought this spotting scope for a Wyoming antelope hunt. It's awesome. Very clear even to 45 power. Picks up light well. For the money you can't beat this spotting scope. The built in sunshade was definitely a bonus. Leupold quality can't be beat.

Nice complete package kit
Decent optics, no complaints considering the price of scope. I was able to see .22 caliber holes at 200yd. The tripod is a little small for the size of the scope, (a bigger tripod might be more stable), but the included tripod seems well made and would be fine for hiking or hunting. My only real complaint is that the neoprene case is way too small and one has to wrestle with it to get the scope back in the soft case, it took me several minutes just to get it back in, which is not practical in the field. Adorama customer service did a great job with my issue.

I'm happy with it.
I primarily purchased this for use when shooting competitively as the scope I had been using was junk. The target image was crisp and clear from the 200 yard line all the way to the 600 yard line. I am able to easily discern the mirage (just need to learn how to read it).
I would prefer that the eye relief was greater. I wear glasses and it's difficult at times to look into the scope without gooning my position (mainly prone). With only 3 minutes of prep time once on the line, you can't spend a lot of time making minute adjustments to the scope's position

Not this one
Hard to sight in with the angle offset. Not good in low light. Sitting in a stand and looking out this glass, I must turn on side to come anywhere near quick enough to see game and change to the rifle.
Would not refer a friend to buy one. Mine is fo sale.

Outstanding Product
I was hesitating about shelling out the money, but once my hands were on this spotting scope I was blown away. You just can't beat the quality of these products. Suck it up and get one!

Does not clearly focus at max power setting on far distance objects. However for the price, I am satisfied as to its use as a spotting scope. I wonder if the gold ring models perform any better?

Light weight, great optics!
Bought this scope for bird watching. Light weight, rugged, great clarity over all magnification ranges, easy to focus, great soft carrying case. Hard case is very light-duty. Tabletop tripod is okay, but I purchased it because the scope is awesome!
