I have now used these rings on (3) Tikka rifles...they are direct mount and I have not experienced any issues during the install, sighting process, or while shooting. I did initially explore a different mounting option because the BackCountry Tikka were not available, however, I had a few issues with the non-Leupold mount. I removed them and waited for for the BackCountry to come back and stock. I am very pleased with this mount and how it complements my new found love for Tikka rifles.
