Purchased for general use in the alpine area, stargazing, and observing marine life from the coastline. So far I have used them for stargazing and observing birds and sea lion on Three Arches Marine Wildlife Refuge. They are easy to use rugged and waterproof and that too drew me to them. I wear glasses and can use them while wearing them. So far, I am pleased with there performance.

I went out glassing in the goat rocks just after I got my binoculars. I was able to glass for a couple hours easily.

Awesome pair of optics. I got a pair of binoculars and they are clear, high power, light weight, etc. One thing I think could better product is attaching optic covers to optics so you don't have to worry about losing optic covers but is minor issue. Overall great pair of binoculars. Use for hunting, sightseeing, recon, etc.

The BX-1 McKenzie 12 x 50 binoculars are great, better viewing than I have ever had before. I live on the ocean and can see details like I never could before. Great product.

Owned these 2 months before the Lens inside broke or come loose. Says Made in China on the Box. Wouldnt buy again. They are currently sent in for repair..

Got these for an upcoming Mule Deer hunt in Montana. I have a pair of 8 x 42 for everyday carry, but wanted something that I could use for glassing open country both using and not using a tripod. From what I've experienced practicing here at home I think they will be awesome. They have great clarity and light gathering capability in low light just before dark. Only negative thus far is the tightness of the Diopter Ring adjustment on the right eyepiece makes it hard to turn and adjust, but that only has to be done one time when you first set it up.

This is my first pair of nice (for me) binoculars and they are extremely impressive. The quality is very high, as is expected of Leupold. The binos are very solid feeling and come with a nice belt case and shoulder strap. I was hoping they were US made like Leupolds firearm optics, but they aren't. Still very high quality, excellent at gathering light and show great clarity.

Awesome pair of binoculars very clear view. I live on 100 acres and clearly across the farm. Great for dusk or dawn viewing. Where most other competitors product don't give much a view at those times these do. Highly recommend!

I use these for any time I'm out hunting or just looking for critters in fields and woods. When I first got em, I thought they where great. After 2 years, they became hazey, so I sent them back. I was impressed because they actually sent me a new pair. However, I'm ready to throw them in the trash. They adjuster knob is sloppy and doesn't like to stay focused. Thoroughly disappointed.

I use these for hunting and so they have held up great. These binoculars are a great value for the money and view is spectacular, end caps could be designed better, they fall off often. After the second time loosing them in the woods then going on a hunt to recover the caps, I duct taped the rings to the barrel so they no stay on. Attachment needs to be tighter or be redesigned to attach differently. They are made in China.
