Really like this RDO. I've tried several, I've found that it's much faster and easier to acquire the dot versus some of my others. I'm sold. From now on, this is the RDO I'll be using.

The DeltaPoint Pro was easy
The DeltaPoint Pro was easy to install and sight in on a Staccato CS. It has improved my shooting dramatically.

I've carried this optic on
I've carried this optic on duty for almost a decade. I have also used it on competition guns. I have only ever had to zero these optics on mounting, and they will still put bullets where I need them to be.

This is my fourth Delta
This is my fourth Delta Point, meaning the fourth I am using on a different firearm. I shoot 3 Gun (open) and USPSA pistol and I have this dot on all three of my firearms for three gun. Primary on pistol, (2011) primary on shotgun (Dissident KL12) and secondary on my AR. I have shot them for years and they last, are durable, hold zero and are extremely reliable. I bought this most recent one as I have a training pistol now and I moving my rifle Delta point to the Grip Keeper trainer and mounting this new one on my AR.

The DPP is an outstanding
The DPP is an outstanding product. I used and evaluated several red dot sights from various manufacturers over a two year period, in training, practice and competition and this is by far my favorite. First, it has a pistol appropriate dot - 6 MOA. 2-3 MOA dots may make sense for certain applications but are unnecessarily small for the majority of pistol applications. The 6 MOA dot is readily picked up during presentation while still being small enough to aim accurately. Second, the lens size is large enough to facilitate fast dot acquisition during presentation- this is a huge deal and a huge shortcoming in smaller units. Finally, it's a Leupold. They're a solid American company and stand behind every optic they sell - forever. The only thing I don't love about this unit is the on/off/brightness switch. It's a little difficult to manipulate, especially with gloves. That's not a bad thing once you have it set because inadvertent changes are virtually impossible but the initial powering on and adjustment takes a little bit to get used to. Overall, a great optic and my favorite of all the ones I've used.

The dot is solid but
The dot is solid but the one button operation feels archaic. Especially with that button being in front of the emitter. I feel like about half the time I have to go all the way back around because I made one too many clicks on accident.

I have had several other top name brands of red dot sights and The DeltaPoint Pro is by far my favorite! I have several of them on various handguns. I highly recommend the DeltaPoint pro for everything except very small subcompact pistols.

I bought this to replace
I bought this to replace my 6 MOA version that I purchased in late 2022. That optic has seen some rough use, from being dropped on concrete and gravel, to banged up in a vehicle. It has also endured over 10,000 rounds of 9mm on a pistol. I have all manner of optics from Sig, Trijicon, Holosun, and others. This is my absolute favorite pistol optic and my go-to on and off duty.

I have the delta point
I have the delta point pro on a few of my firearms (my 2011, 10mm and my benelli SBE3 12 gauge turkey gun) and they are all working without incident! Year after year I rely on them and they save time and money. I will look forward to using them on any other firearms as I need them. I say Leupold I thank you for such high quality.

Wide viewing window, which makes it easy to acquire, but the red dot is not a sharp as other models and I'd like to see an easier transition or more. Intuitive transition in regards to brightness of the dot.

I am a Leupold loyalist.
I am a Leupold loyalist. I have over 30 of their scopes and 5 of their Delta Points red dots. I will not put any other optic on my firearms.
I was raise on Leupold and I will not deviate from the brand.

Bought the Delta point, Pro mounted it on my handgun and was unable to get zeroed in called support. They blame me. They blame my pistol, but in the end it was the circuit board they replaced and now I got it cited in customer service is poor.

Best Red dot on the market
I love my PD pro red dot and by fare is the best there is was a lot of RD involved I have had a lot of Red Dot and this one is the best on the market you won't go wrong and made in the Us and their customer service is the best I have on a bunch of my shotguns rifles and pistols, and won't go back to anything else . . you won't be disappointed.

My Delta Point Pro has
My Delta Point Pro has a bad "star burst".
I called customer service and talked with the representative and was told that it was my eyes that had the problem, not the Delta Point Pro.
I also own an Aimpoint Red Dot, and several Holsun Red dots. Non of the other brands starburst or smear.
When other people look at the sight it also starburst.
So the Leupold representative was wrong, or my eyes only cause starburst of the red-dot only with the Leupold Delta Point Pro.
I own several other Leupold scopes (conventional glass) and I love them. Only the Delta Point Pro (red dot) is giving me problems.
This product (Delta Point Pro) is causing me grief.
