Great for knowing your surroundings
We are completely surrounded by trees and as such we have everything from coyotes, foxes l, deer and the like in and around our home. It's nice to be able to know what's in the woods at night while sitting on our deck. so far so good.

Definite advantage to locating downed deer
I hunt deer in heavily wooded forests, where tracking can be difficult. The LTO Tracker HD thermal makes this easier, by showing me where a downed deer may be concealed by brush and other foliage especially when there is little or no blood trail to follow. Recovering a downed deer just became much easier.

Would definitely purchase again.
Takes the fun out of tracking a fresh kill.. but watching the kids track not realizing I found the deer already is priceless.

I find studs in exterior walls, heat loss from home, clogged coolant lines on vehicles, my little 6lb dog as he tries to hide from me because he wants to go on an adventure (have to catch him before he tries to cross a busy road), general fun with this tool. I take it everywhere. If I'm not looking through it, I have a pelican case with custom foam for it. Last night had some fun showing the neighbors kids it. The saw their bare foot prints on the concrete pad, each other, and more.
Showed some preppers this tracker, now they are going to get some for their bug out bags.

Would not want to hunt without it!!
Great product for detecting game or a downed animal, I've already used for both. I'm sold on it so far, will be a regular part of my pack.Works better in colder temps.

Excellent Product!!!
I bought 14 of these for my police department patrol supervisors. They have been used numerous times and have helped identify threats, where prior to us having them, officers would have had to search with a flashlight, endangering themselves. Thanks to Leupold once again for a great product!
