Placed on my son's first
Placed on my son's first rifle and it's perfect for a youth beginner. My only concern is the CDS not having a lock-wish there was a "tougher" detention just to get out of the zero. Used to that security on the VX-5 and 6. If this were there it would be an absolute steal for the price! Still believe it is an exceptional scope for the price.

This never should've been discontinued!!
Perfect magnification (2-7x33) for most hunting and pretty much all AR-15/AR-10 applications. Got one of these VX-Freedoms, a VX-1, and a Redfield Revolution in this same magnification. I really don't understand why you discontinued it. The glass is good, the magnification range is spot-on, it holds zero like a politician holds office, and the turrets on the VX-Freedoms are a lot like the Revolutions. They're a little mushy, sure, but they do work. At this price point, there really is nothing better, especially since it's made in the USA. Shame to see it go. Hopefully you bring it back.

ULTIMATE HIGHER POWER SCOPE
This scope is perfect for me. Power rage is very useful and versatile. Weight is lowest i have found in its power range. Over all size for me is ideal. Rings don't have to be as high. Reliable quality. Repeatable holds zero for me so far. I SURE HOPE LEUPOLD DOES NOT DISCONTINUE THIS SCOPE! Reasonable price. Only negative is i wish low starting power was a little lower. Again perfect for me as is though.

This scope is the perfect
This scope is the perfect size for the application wherein I'm using it. It's mounted on a Kimber Mountain Accent rifle. Most scopes today are to big and burdensome if you inted to mount it on a light weight mountain type rifle. Everything about the scope, form, fit and finish is perfectly suited for my use. Clarity is comparable to higher end scopes.

The quality of this "budget"
The quality of this "budget" line is extraordinary. It does not feel budget at all. I have used a VX-5 and this freedom really doesn't feel any different. Very good quality for the price.

Disappointed with lack of accessory
Love everything about this scope, except that it doesn't come with a bikini. I can only find a generic one and it doesn't fit well. I don't want a cover that stays attached and don't want one that completely covers scope, just a simple bikini that's easily removed and fits in my pocket. If one is available for this, I certainly can't find it.

Mounted on a Bergara 17HMR, Going to get a couple more for all my small caliber long guns. This is by far the clearest glass and best bang for a buck I have ever purchased. I have a dozen or so competitors that don't come close to this optic.

Sir I have great feelings
Sir I have great feelings about all of my leupold scopes. Im a bit confused about why you have discontinued some of my favorite scopes . I really like the 4. 5x14x50 cds and fire dot 30 mm tubei have several. I see you brought back the 4x16x50 great move . I would like to see the 6x18x50 in a vx 3hd perfect scope. I have 3 3x15x56 and love them but you need to remember that everyone can't afford the high end scopes and a 4 to 600. 00 is within reach for most people. I believe that my suggestions are spot on and you would be wise to talk to the consumer. All told i have around 15 plus leupold scopes and will not even consider anything else. Mounted on a T/C Omega that has been converted to 45 cal smokeless muzzleloader. Scope is nice and clear with a bright picture but most importantly it is holding zero. Haven't used it for hunting yet so unable to comment on how it stands up in the field. I would buy another. Leopold has quality products and stands behind their warranty.
