Great scope for 450 Bushmaster
Best bang for the buck scope for a 450 bushmaster used for Deer. I put a 3-9x freedom on a Ruger Gunsite 450 BM. I used the rear mounts not the front rail. 100 yard groups are under 1 inch. Bagged two bucks last year at 180 yards. If you hunt in lower Michigan where the shots are from 20- 200 yards this is all the scope you need. CDS is pre calibrated for Hornady 450BM ammo. Each scope design has to survive 5,000 impacts on the Punisher, Leupold's recoil simulation machine. The force of each impact is 3x the recoil of a .308 rifle. If the scope doesn't perform in any way during the tests, we make adjustments to the design and test it again.
