Scope came in a timely
Scope came in a timely manner. Scope glass clear with no distortion. Power adjustment ring turned smoothly. Basically what I would except from Leopold. They continue to make a great product. I've been using them for over twenty years and have always find the product living up to my exceptions.

For this end of the
For this end of the Leupold line up this is a fine scope. I have owned a Vari X iii 1. 5-5x for years and would have bought another if still produced. This is nice too. Well worth the price. I like that it isn't overly modernized in outward appearance. The zoom ring is a bit modern but functional. It's hard to find a sporting scope that isn't three quarters a tactical timmy scope that looks out of place on older classic rifles. Sometimes less is more!

Took my new scope on
Took my new scope on a bear hunt to Alaska. Long story short, after I fell 40 feet off a cliff and my scope hit slate rock on the fall, my scope still held a perfect zero and I took a huge Black Bear with my . 300 Win Mag. These scopes are tough! Even with rain, cold and falling from a cliff? the scope was clear and held zero perfectly! Well Done!

I own several rifles that
I own several rifles that are set up for Scout scopes, and as such have purchased a number of IER optics over the last 20 years. In that time the Leupolds have always been the top of the top of the heap for brightness, build quality, field of view, and light weight. I purchased this one to replace a perfectly functional scope from a competing brand because I didn't trust it to come to Africa. This scope, mounted to a sporterized Mauser, made the trip just fine. Only note; every set up is different, but at 4x an additional inch of eye relief would be nice.

I have two of the VX-Freedom 3-9X40 350 Legend and I love them so needless to say I got one for my 450. Of course it's a Leupold so it works amazing. Definitely recommend them!

This is a GREAT scope!
This is a GREAT scope! It's light weight, simple, and the glass is very clear. When I mounted it, I took 1 shot at 25 yards, 1 at 50, 1 at 100, and 1 at 200. We had 1 inch target stickers on the 200 yard gong. I handed it to my 15 year old nephew and he shot every sticker off the target, 1 round each. He warned me that he'll be stealing it soon. I don't blame him.
