This may be the Leupold
This may be the Leupold scope that gives you the most bang for your buck. I'd prefer it with a 40mm objective but it's not available in that configuration.

Really good scope for the money. I like the Pig reticle. My only complaint is that it is not crisp all the way to the edge. But overall I am very happy with it.

I own two of these
I own two of these now for my son's rifles. They have had very successful on hunts in all weather conditions and elevations. The scope has held zero with no issues in clarity. A great scope for the value.

Not a good scope
I bought this scope online from Cabela's and it was not a good experience. I put the scope on my 45-70 Marlin and when zeroing it in, the scope ran out of elevation to adjust. That was the first that ever happened to me when I put on a lot of Leupold scopes before but none with the plastic dial adjustment. I even changed out scope rings to see if that would fix it, but it didn't. I returned the scope to Cabela's and I was told by the workers there that this scope has had a lot of issues and they took back 2 in the last week. The worker also told me that Leupold started putting plastic internals in the scope and that's where issues arise. But paying 300 dollars for a scope that doesn't work and hearing that the manufacturer is now skimping on parts is not a good look.

Perfect for deer hunting! I mounted this scope on a Browning X-Bolt in . 243 Win. Performs flawlessly. Great light collection at dawn and dusk, when a good quality scope matters most! Would definitely buy again. . . because I did! I have two of these so far.

Good scope for the money
I've actually really liked this scope, it's light, good adjustments and pretty clear glass. The subtensions work for my 7mm-08 spot on. What would really take this scope up a notch is instead of holdover dots, do lines with a windage mark as well. i. e. your 400 mark would be 4. 8moa elevation and a 1. 9moa windage mark.

Fantastic scope with quick target acquisition
Mounted very easily. Very clear glass and excellent craftsmanship. Very comparable, in my opinion, to VX and VARI-X models. Mounted on an Encore . 458 Win. No problems what-so-ever. Great product.
