My friend Barry a retired police officer strongly suggested this scope for my Winchester Xpert rifle in 21 Sharp. Leupold makes a great product and the warranty is exceptional in todays market. Mounted this rifle and even though its a 21 Sharp with low recoil its spot on.

Close to perfect?. .
The only trim, lightweight, sensible hunting scope left!
I have one right now and hope to get a few more. Great eye relief ( both critical and non critical), perfect sized and actually useful dimensions, very clear; just really nothing like this 2-7x33 out there, anymore. The size of the eyepiece aids in low mounting, plenty of light transmission and clarity. Makes a decent replacement for the missing M8/FX 4x33 fixed power. Only negatives are the zoom ring is to large and aggressive, I much prefer the VX-1 and VX-2 zoom rings, and wish the windage and elevation housing was much less boxy and more rounded, like the VX-1/VX-2. Please don't ever discontinue this 2-7x33, Leupold!

Mounted on my M-1 Garand.
Mounted on my M-1 Garand. Needs another 1/2 inch or so of eye relief to work properly at full magnification. Probably going to move this scope to my . 30-30, and look for something else for the Garand.

VX Freedom 4+12×40 Will Not Focus
The scope will not focus properly. 25yds and beyond forget it. Stays fuzzy. She's never crisp. Never. Played with the reticle. Nope. Didn't help. Couldn't get a crisp crosshair.
20+ rounds fired through rifle. Other individuals couldn't get a good crisp outline. Not Happy. My Leupold 3-9x40 is fabulous. Make me happy Leupold.

I have two of these,
I have two of these, one on a 350 legend and another on a 6. 5 creedmore. Both lightweight builds for walking the woods in Michigan and these are consistently better than any other optic I've ever owned. Never an issue in low light, always able to see through the optic what I can with my eyes

My recently purchased VX Freedom
My recently purchased VX Freedom is an excellent optic, after carefully mounting it I fired my . 270 once, made an adustment, fired the second round and made an adjustment , the next two rounds were dime size in the bullseye at 100 yards, point being the inner workings the adjustment turret are spot on. Now in personal opinion Luepold is the best, hands down. . . Andrew.

Fantastic scope
I have 2 of these pig plex scopes. 1 on a Marlin 1895 45/70. The other is on a Ruger Hawkeye . 358 Winchester. I can shoot sub moa groups with both rifles at 100 yards. It is great for snap shooting as it is a very fast target acquisition scope.
