The DeltaPoint Pro red dot's versatility just got taken up a notch with our ring top mounts. Whether it's on a long range rifle to find targets faster or a CQB setup for quick engagements the ring top mount adds a new dimension to any setup. It easily attaches the DP Pro to any of our Mark 4 rings or Mark IMS mounting systems, letting you run it up top or at either side at a 45 degree angle. The possibilities are endless

While the overall design is solid, the red dot sits too low the scope turret blocks the point of view in all mount options. An optional spacer would be beneficial.

Ruined the finish on a $1. 5k scope. The screw are to long and went straight into the scope. I use a torque and the proper torque. I guess I'm never reselling that scope.

Perfect mount for your DPP!

I put it on my Mark 5 HD. Could use a slight riser on the DPP but not mandatory and the DPP is perfect for short range quick acquisition 50-200 yards out while the Mark 5 HD is amazing between 300 and 800.

Perfect mount for your DPP!

Awesome accessory.

Love the mount fit and finish but take note if using an inch/lb torque wrench. Leupold specs the base to rings at 22 or 25 inch lbs. I used locktite and a Wheeler Fat wrench at 18 lbs and immediately stripped the threads on the ring. Leupolds customer service took care of me and ensured me I wasn't out of spec then sent a replacement. Assuming my torque wrench was out of calibration, I bought a brand new "real avid" brand wrench. Since I had the old ring top I played around with it. Long story short without loctite they strip at 20 in/lbs. I chose to do 13lbs with loctite. Maybe both my wrenches are out of calibration who knows, your mileage may vary.

The top plate was slightly loose, so I carefully removed it from the ring, applied a small strip of electrical tape between the two surfaces, and then tightened everything back down. This effectively resolved the issue with the looseness.

IM NOT BIG ON LEAVING REVIEWS SO HERE GOES. THE RING TOP IS THE EASIEST WAY TO RUN A DELTAPOINT PRO ON TOP OF YOUR OPTIC. I TOOK EXTRA TIME TO LAP THE RINGS AS I HATE THE GAPS OR MARKS ON MY TUBE. IT GIVES YOU THREE OPTIONS TOP CENTER THAT DON'T WORK WITH HIGH TURRENTS OR 45 DEGREE LEFT OR RIGHT. THE MOUNT IS SOLID AND WORTH THE PRICE. THE ONLY IMPROVEMENT I WOULD RECOMMEND IS TO INCLUDE FOUR FILLER 8X40 SCREWS TO PLUG THE UNUSED HOLES IN THE RING TOP IT WOULD KEEP DIRT AND WATER FROM GETTING BETWEEN THE SCOPE TUBE AND RING JUST KEEP THE SCREWS SHORT AND AND EVEN WITH THE RING TOP SO YOU DON'T DAMAGE THE TUBE. THANKS LEUPOLD

Perfect addition to my AR. With a slight upward movement of the head position you can easily transition from the higher magnification of my Mark 4 rifle scope to the quick acquisition of a close quarters red dot, literally , in the blink of an eye !
