Nice clear image and brightness
Nice clear image and brightness at higher magnification. My issue is with eye relief. I have to have my face in contact with the eye piece. There's no way I can use the scope with the eye piece adjusted out. The image becomes too small.

I bought this spotting scope
I bought this spotting scope to replace a Celestrom 100mm lense spotting scope. The Leupold has excellent color definition and resolution out to 500 yards. It does not have the resolution of the 100mm lense at 1000 yards but it is good enough to see 30 caliber impacts. I cannot see the 224 caliber impacts accept under very bright conditions.
It is fabulous to abserving waterfowl on ponds, lake, and ocean.

The price on the SX-4
The price on the SX-4 Pro HD is great for the quality of the glass that you receive. I wish it had a carrying case. WOrked great on the range and while in the field in ND/SD muley hunting. A bit heavy, but awesome glass.

Beautiful Optics
I just got a replacement SX-4 Pro Guide after struggling for almost 2 years , I originally got my SX4 in 2022 and was disheartened when I looked through it , I either had a small area in the centre or a small ring on the outside of my field of vision that was in focus , I called the service/ tech at Leupold and described my issue and was convinced that because the optics were so powerful I'd have some warping , blurry areas in my field of view . I was never really happy and a few months later called again only not be convinced of the same thing . my scope ended up just being furniture on a tripod as it was not fun or easy or good to use at all , my binoculars were way better , then a couple weeks ago I was so frustrated with it I basically called and insisted on sending it in for them to look at it , if it was returned I'd be selling it and lesson learned . I sent it in and lo and behold once the service guy looked through was told I had some serious internal problem of an unknown origin . They told me they were sending me a new one to replace it , which I now have and its incredible , its everything its supposed to be and more , I just wish I'd been believed almost 2 years ago and hadn't gone through all that time essentially without a spotting scope , Thanks for replacing my scope Leupold , I just wish someone had of listened to me sooner , I have lots of Leupold products and knew that the optics were off , it just wasn't something Leupold would knowingly sell . Anyway almost 2 years and I'm finally happy . I'd have given 5 stars if the first one I got was as good as the replacement I just received and if someone had of listened to me and not wasted 2 years and $70 in extra shipping to return it ......

I've really enjoyed this as
I've really enjoyed this as my first spotter. It's great quality and just makes me happy to be behind. My only "grief" is that at max magnification it seems to be hard to get in focus or it's a tad blurry. Maybe that's just how it is or I need to play with it more. Also, doesn't hurt function but when you try to extend the sun shade with the protective cover on, it's extremely hard to get out. Would be a very easy fix to upsize the diameter of the protective sleeve a tad to allow less "squeeze" on the ring. Overall I enjoy it!

Put the SX-4 spotting scope
Put the SX-4 spotting scope to the test on. Recent antelope hunt in Wyoming. The balance of quality optic and compact size was perfect for me. I was able to glass up a nice buck and set after it. Without the SX-4, I wouldn't have been able to confirm it was a solid buck before harvesting it.

Well, I bought the SX-4
Well, I bought the SX-4 while on a military deployment and I haven't made it back home to try it out yet. The 5 star rating is for Leupold's support for military personnel, fast delivery, and customer service. I have no doubt that the SX-4 will be a great product.
