Awesome optic. Conducted tracking test to 8 MILs and was spot on. Had an opportunity to do a mile shoot and optic was phenomenal. I do wish Leupold made a coyote version of their MK 5 competition turret.

An amazing optic. I'd trust Leupold with my life any day. I have had tons of experience with the Mark 4 series as well as the new 7-35 power Mark 5HD Army mil grid. These optics are of the highest quality and clarity. The only issue I have is not with the optics as I stated I would trust them with my life. However I find it irritating the high quality scope does not come with scope caps or even stickers for that matter. I will say it does come with a premounted "low pro" throw lever which is amazing. However from my experience with Nightforce they include some extras with a throw lever and other items.

With that being said, Leupold would be my go to choice for duty or real end user optic needs due to reliability, rugged build, clarity, weight and some other small features I enjoy which Leupold does however, I find it to be user preference for the other small features.

I love the scope. But I really wish that the bronze colored one like I purchased had an illumination option. The crosshairs on the PR1-Moa reticle are very fine, and I am afraid it will make shooting tough in low light situations.

I really like this scope. The whole experience from ordering until using the scope has been great.

A couple of small things-Both boxes the scope was shipped in were damaged. I don't know if it was negligent packing or rough handling by the carrier. Scope still works great though because I hit steel at 1,100 yards. The second thing, I love the reticle but I think you could improve it by making solid lines instead of having the free floating dot in the center. Reticle was a PR1-MIL. I still love it though!

I really like this scope.

I now have 4 of these and they are great. With mature eyes everything is clear and the reticle is easy to see on a distant target.
The throw lever is fluid but enough to stay in place.
The competition dial is a nice touch as the markings are large and easy to see in any light.

I believe the only scope you need for serious shooters and Hunters is a Leupold product. The continue to improve and adjust to our needs. The customer service at Leupold is second to none. Easy access to help and information. They never ever failed me. recently I purchase a new rifle and my first thought was to go to Leupold and very happy I did I purchased another Mark 5 which is the perfect fit for my rifle. The clarity is perfect it in light better than any other scope that I have ever purchased. The PR2 reticle is everything I need and without being to busy. Needless to say when you are in need go and explore the Mark 5 I promise you you will love it.

Incredible scope in every way. The quality is second to none. The clarity is outstanding. I cannot say enough good things about this scope. It is large, so it might look a little out of place on a smaller rifle, but if you are on the fence about this scope, just buy it!

This is the first Leupold rifle scope I have ever owned. I mostly have European glass. But I must say this scope is awesome - Super clear, extremely light for the quality and clarity. I really like the illuminated reticle which is great with multiple different levels of illumination perfect for all light conditions. This scope is ruggedly built yet the turrets operate very smoothly. I'm seriously thinking of buying more and replacing my other rifle scopes.

I was expecting a much better fit and finish scope for $2800 MSRP from this company. I have been buying Leupold products for 35 years, but first time going high end for a scope. Scope came with Turret sub-tension markings not even close to matching up. After a few a few MOA adjustments you potentially would be unaware where you were at in your elevation. Sent new scope in for repair. Got scope back. Sub-tension was fix but the turrets are now very mushy. A lot of movement before break over. Pretty unhappy with that. Don't have that mushiness before the repair. Feel pretty disappointed so far with the purchase.
