Great scope for 450 Bushmaster
Best bang for the buck scope for a 450 bushmaster used for Deer. I put a 3-9x freedom on a Ruger Gunsite 450 BM. I used the rear mounts not the front rail. 100 yard groups are under 1 inch. Bagged two bucks last year at 180 yards. If you hunt in lower Michigan where the shots are from 20- 200 yards this is all the scope you need. CDS is pre calibrated for Hornady 450BM ammo. A 3:1 zoom ratio is very common in many scope models. It gives you 3 times more magnification at high power than at low power, so you can dial your power down for close encounters or all of the way up for long-range shots.
