Awesome scope!

Finally replaced a budget scope on my deer rifle with this quality scope. Nice and clear in low light. Got a CDS dial for my cartridge and spent time at the range to ensure it was on at several yardages. First time out this year had a nice eight point ranged at 175 yards - adjusted the CDS to that range and the bullet went exactly where I was aiming.

I love the fire dot

I love the fire dot my only issue is the button to activate the red dot isn't very user friendly. Also I thought I had it turned off and when I took it out of my case and looked through the scope it was already activated. I have been removing the battery to ensure it doesn't activate prematurely.

Slapped this on a 16. 5 inch bolt action . 308, perfect scope for the rifle, small and light weight with excellent glass. CDS turret was delivered a few days after putting the order in and was very simple to sight in. Couldn't be happier with the rifle and scope that I got for my wife and daughters to use this past deer season

This is an amazing optic.

This is an amazing optic. I got it for hunting deer and have had a blast using it. My grandad has Parkinson's and fading eyesight and he had no problem shooting a 2in group at 100yards. None of thought that was possible for him, but the red dot in the middle coupled with the extra large objective lens made it easier for his eyes to pick up his target (1" black dot) and crush it. Looking forward to dropping some predators this winter with it! Great optic.

In the USMC, accuracy was

In the USMC, accuracy was alot about the "hold" when zeroing in. We aimed at six o'clock so as to. not lose our sights in the black of the black target. . . the same issue can be a problem with black cross hairs. . . adding the tiny red dot pinpoints ones hold to dead center. Add the bdc feature and with a 100yd zero one has unmatched accuracy up to 500yds with the simple turn of the turret. . . Great product at a reasonable price. Thank you Leupold for helping we veterans.

Amazing performance

Finally got this scope mounted on my . 308. As a former Police Firearms instructor I'm very much impressed with the quality and clarity of this scope. Today at the range, I was able to get approximately 1/2 inch groups with 150 gr. factory ammo from the bench at 100 yards. What really impressed me was when I popped in the CDS dial and moved over to the 200 yard range. Honestly, I was very skeptical of it's ability to put you right on target by simply popping in this dial. The person next to me was no way will that work. It took me all of 30 seconds to install the CDS dial and I asked the shooter next to me for assistance with watching my shot. I took my first shot at a 6 inch steel plate which hit dead center and then 4 follow up shots all hitting dead center. The shooter who assisted me was astounded by the dials accuracy. I only wish that our range had a 300 yard area. Leupold has really stepped it up with a great lineup of quality scopes. Leupold is the only scope that our agency will use and it's the largest agency in the world. They also replaced my Vari-X 2 scope from the 70's no questions asked and also included a CDS dial. Before you consider going to a different brand scope take a look at their new lineup of scopes you won't be disappointed. ????
