The scope is crystal clear and well made as you'd expect from Leupold. The only reason for the four stars is I feel there could be more adjustment and if it had more it'd definitely get the fifth star from me. Over all I'd definitely buy it again and recommend it.

Awesome scope.

This scope is a great scope for the 360 buck hammer, or any lever gun. I mounted it with extra low ring and removed the rear buck horn sights, and the rifle balances the same as a gun without a scope. The gun is zero at 100 yard and I am able to dial to 200 yards to maximize the buck hammer potential. This scope will be my go too for future lever gun I plan on buying.

Mounted this on a browning 270 and sighted it in took it on a bear hunt and dropped it off the pack to a rock dented the front of the scope but it kept its zero and works as it did great scope as always Leupold is quality

Mounted the 3. 5x10x50 on my Browning X Bolt in 7mm-08. I took it to the range today and zeroed at 200 with custom reloads the rifle likes. 140 grain Sierra Gamekings @ 2800 fps. I then turned the custom dial to 300. Shot one time at the 300 yard target. It was right in the x ring.

I purchased the VX-3HD 2. 5-8x36 CDS-ZL direct from Leupold using their most generous, VIP pricing for retired military. The experience was typical Leupold; exceptional! The scope has the duplex reticle and CDS-ZL dial, which Is a great feature for use on larger scopes, but not really required on this particular configuration. However; since this is the only
option offered, I still purchased it. The scope has incredible FOV, optical clarity and resolution along with exceptional eye relief. This is the perfect scope for a lightweight rifle set up to hunt Whitetail deer and Moose in the Northeast.

My favorite hunting scope. Great light gathering with clear image. I have 3 mounted on Winchester model 70s. Haven't had one need adjusted even with heavy field use and magnum rounds.
