This riflescope features a 3:1 Zoom Ratio, a common feature in many scope models. This ratio offers three times more magnification at high power than at low power, allowing you to adjust your power for close encounters or long-range shots.
The Custom Dial System (CDS) from Leupold allows you to customize your turret to your exact ballistics and environmental conditions. Once your new custom dial is installed, simply range the target, turn the dial to that number, and aim dead on.
The ZeroLock system prevents accidental dial movement by locking it in place. High-definition, calcium-fluoride lenses ensure incredible clarity at all magnification levels. The riflescope also comes with an illuminated reticle, aiding faster target acquisition in low-light situations.
The lightweight aluminum housing offers excellent durability and ruggedness without adding unnecessary weight. A traditional eyepiece lock ring allows you to lock in a focus setting that is best for your eye. The reversible throw lever easily clamps onto specific power-selector rings, making it ideal for quick magnification changes.
The lenses are scratch-resistant, with hardened surface coatings added to meet extreme military standards for added lens protection. The riflescope is waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof, thanks to Leupold's pioneering technology using advanced internal gasses and sealing methods.
The Wind-Plex reticle expands on the Duplex reticle, aiding in compensating for crosswinds. With 1 MOA approximately equal to 1 inch at 100 yards, hash marks are in 1 MOA increments and extend to 10 MOA on each side. This reticle can be used with any caliber round and is best utilized with our CDS (Custom Dial System). The reticle is located on the rear (second) focal plane.
