Once your new custom dial is installed, simply range the target, turn the dial to that number, and aim dead on.The ZeroLock system prevents accidental dial movement by locking it in place. High-definition, calcium-fluoride lenses ensure incredible clarity at all magnification levels. Clear and bright scope. It's mounted on a Ruger RSM in 416 Rigby. I was going to take this set up to Africa this year. But due to some unforeseen circumstances I had to change calibers. Hope to use this set up in the future. Would highly recommend.

I purchased the VX-3HD 2. 5-8x36 CDS-ZL direct from Leupold using their most generous, VIP pricing for retired military. The experience was typical Leupold; exceptional! The scope has the duplex reticle and CDS-ZL dial, which Is a great feature for use on larger scopes, but not really required on this particular configuration. However; since this is the only
option offered, I still purchased it. The scope has incredible FOV, optical clarity and resolution along with exceptional eye relief. This is the perfect scope for a lightweight rifle set up to hunt Whitetail deer and Moose in the Northeast.

mounted this new VX-3HD 4. 5-14 CDZ duplex on a new Browning X-bolt 243 very clear optics from low to high power. the best feature I like is the CDZ system once rifle was zeroed @ 200 yards using custom reloads that were chronograph using my ballistic program. i can hit a 4'' steel gongs all the way out too 500 yards.
