The riflescope features an illuminated Second Focal Plane FireDot Twilight Hunter Reticle, complete with seven brightness settings and an easy-to-use illumination dial. This allows for fast target acquisition, even in harsh daylight conditions. The riflescope also boasts match-grade repeatability and ergonomic controls that are easy to read and use, even when wearing gloves.
The VX-3HD Riflescope is equipped with a low-profile, one-revolution CDS ZeroLock dial, ensuring your dial only moves when you want it to. With a simple push of a button, you can unlock it, dial, and then rotate it back to zero to lock it in place.
The 3:1 Zoom Ratio is a common feature in many scope models, offering three times more magnification at high power than at low power. This allows you to adjust your power for close encounters or dial it up for long-range shots.
The ZeroStop system creates a backstop when returning the dial back to zero, preventing accidental full revolution in the wrong direction. The ZeroLock system further enhances this feature by locking the dial in place, eliminating accidental dial movement.
High-definition, calcium-fluoride lenses ensure incredible clarity at all magnification levels. The scope also comes with an illuminated reticle, aiding faster target acquisition in low-light situations.
The Motion Sensor Technology (MST) extends battery life by automatically deactivating illuminated reticles after five minutes of inactivity and reactivates instantly as soon as movement is detected.
