See Clearly In the Evening

Over the past few seasons, I've been using a pair of 10x42 from another brand that were supposedly good for low-light situations. Sitting in the stand one evening, I was struggling to see the deer in an open field. And it was only 15mins or so past sunset. I could make out that there were several does and 2 bucks, but I couldn't see their antlers all that well. I mentioned this to my buddy while sitting around the camp fire that night. And the camera photos showed one was a young 4pt, but the other was a deer with a messed up rack we were trying to eliminate. He let me borrow his pair of BX-2's and said to compare them to mine. The next evening, I sat in the same stand and the conditions were the same. When the deer came into the food plot, I could easily pick up the young buck's antlers with ease in BX-2's, but I couldn't with my binos. I waited for the cull buck to show, but he never did. Before getting down for the night, I ordered the BX-2, 10x52 from the stand! The binoculars themselves are fantastic! I hunt deer in the SE from a combo of blinds (ground and elevated), ladder stands, and climbers that look over meadows, wide open foodplots, lane cuts in a tree plantation, and the woods. These are definitely a step or 3 above what I was using. The only knock I have is the harness that came with the case. The case itself is fine, but the straps are flimsy and bunch up. It is clearly not the "Go Afield" harness, but hey, I really cannot complain about a free bino harness, right?

Bought for my wife and she loves them. They are rugged, rubber coating allows for great grip from any part of the binoculars. They grab tons of light and often objects appear brighter than the outside environment. Have several Leopold products and definitely recommend.

warranty --in 1988 bought a set of leupold gold rings had to drive 80 miles to small town in northern az to get them , delivered ice all summer to afford the I was 16, great binoculers forward to 1995 got dropped from horse and horse stepped on them and messed them up sent them in and they repaired no cost !!!! fast forward to 2024 left binos at reaip shop just for people watching, since about 2019 one eye piece would not focus , so 2024 i found the website and got a warranty ticket to repair...
