Kept its promise

The ability to have a timber hunting scope and long range scope was game changing. I used the quick release feature to swap between a 1.5-5x20 and 6.5-20x50 more than a dozen times over the course of a week. I was hesitant to look at longer shots at first because I had swapped the scopes so many times, but I tested it at the range and it held the zero. When it finally came time to prove itself, sitting on a hill side while using my knees as arm rests, the scope was still dialed in at 310 yards. I couldn't ask for a more reliable system.

Broke after 25 years

Loved the product. Hunt with one rifle (Remington 700 in 270) but with these mounts I had 3 very different loads and scope combinations. Lower power 1-3X scope with 170 gr bullets for deer (Sambar and heavy bush hunting) up close and personnel, 4x power with low power 110 gr loads for small deer (fallow deer for meat) and 3-9x with 150 gr for red deer. Was setting up new 3-15x scope and full power 130gr for some longer range shooting (tahr and chamois). However, broke the lever off one of the amounts. So now need to find some new ones, but that could be challenging in New Zealand.
