It is what it is another great product from Leupold. I've always used scopes rings and bases from Leupold. Never had a problem.

I used this scope base
I used this scope base as recommended by my gunsmith to replace an older 2-piece system on my VZ-24 sporting rifle. It is more secure and opened options for Leopold rings that will go with the profile I want for this rifle.

Come on guys. Put some info for each model some i dont have to buy them all just to see which one fits. I sent an email, no response . So now i have to order the others and see which one fits. Included bolt spacing at a minimum.

My current Leupold scope (6.5-20
My current Leupold scope (6.5-20 X 50 LR), utilizing the standard Leupold 1 piece base, did not have sufficient internal elevation adjustment, for my 308 Win cartridge, to allow shots beyond 600 yards. The 15 MOA base enabled me to keep my current rifle scope (which I absolutely love) and with relatively minimal cost, allowed me to take advantage of the scope's internal elevation adjustment. Furthermore, I am a fan of the 1 piece scope base since I believe that it helps to strengthen the rifle's magazine fed bolt action somewhat (even if very little). Furthermore, the rear ring mount system allows me to "rough" tune my windage setting externally, thereby allowing me to retain as much of the internal windage adjustment as this model of scope has to offer (i.e. stay as close as possible to the scope's left or right internal adjustment range).
