Perfect simple scope for a small game rifle. I mounted this scope on a CZ 457 to use on small game and pests. The size, weight, and simplicity make for a great package to carry all day.

Size is good for small
Size is good for small rimfire, which is what I bought it for. Optics are excellent usual to Leupold. 3 star rating has primarily due to price. High price for a little 4X rimfire scope.

Simple, well made and perfect for my semiautomatic .22LR rifle
I chose this optic for my custom built BRN-22 (10/22 COPYCAT) because it's lightweight, precise and allows for quick acquisition with fixed power. Great for plinking and hunting small game in the wooded East Coast!

Deep Woods Scope
A fixed power has it?s place on top of a woods guns. With less moving parts, excellent clarity, and fast target acquisition, this scope has proven performance. Excellent work Leupold! Keep the quality coming.

I have this mounted on a Yugo Bruno 8mm Mauser that I have sporterized and it has done wonderful things for the last 12 years unbelievable durability.... Clear as Crystal, groups sub 3" 5 rounds at 200 yards, never fogged up during cold hunts, never let me guessing at the distance I'm shooting, absolutely a work of art and technology... But it's no longer made ..... Why.... it must have worked too good and the original owners never needed to purchase a new one. I for one am still to this day thanking my self for pulling the trigger, and perchased this amazing optic that I know will out last me, and my son will start his own memories one day with Dad's Leopold. Thanks for at one time making a wonderful product. And I look forward to purchasing many more Leopold products for my other firearms.

A real Leupold bargain
I bought this scope to put on my custom Ruger 10/22. I replaced the OEM barrel and with a Green Mountain 20" fluted tapered barrel and a Hogue Overmolded stock. Paired with Leupold base/rings I have a real tack driver from 50 to 75 yards using CCI Mini-Mags.
This scope was eventually replaced with the VX Freedom 2-7x33. Both scopes will deliver exceptional light transmission during the early morning and late evening hours.

Great Scope!
A casual shooter who is getting into hunting so my expertise are limited but this is a great scope for the price. Its nice and lightweight with a crystal clear image that allows for later shooting than most scopes. I will definitely be looking into getting another Leupold scope. The scope has that classic look and the matte finish looks great.

Clear as dqy
Recently mqde the jump to my first quality optic and I couldnt be happier. The glass un this scope is unlike any other I've ever used and finding the sweet spot to get a full view through the back of the acope is easy to fine, unlike many cheaper scopes on the market. I have mine paired on a recently built AR15 and am able to shoot 4 in groups of 5 from 150 yards with no issues seeing my target. The oig plex reticle is a little corny but for the quality Leupold offers who even cares.

Best part of my rifle
I put this scope on our meat getter. It was hard to find mounts for our old swiss ww2 era rifle... but in the end was able to put a combo together to get the 50mm tube mounted. Works great and puts dinner on the table.

This is an amazing scope at a perfect price point. Its too bad it is out of production or else I would have bought another one. There still may be some new old stock just have to continue searching

Excellent Scope
This scope is crystal clear, and has good eye relief. I had it zeroed in less than five shots, and it has performed flawlessly. Shoots the same holes on all magnifications at 100 yards. You can't beat it for the money!
