One example to back this statement up is/are these Alumina lens covers. They are built like a tank and the fit and finish is world class/top tier. They also cost a lot LESS than the ones sold by the "S" and "Z" brands of european optics for use on their scopes. THESE ARE A MUST HAVE ITEM!

I got stuck in the woods in a driving snow storm and they worked flawlessly. I only buy Leupold products because of their quality and there're made here in the USA.
