I AM buying this scope again!
I've had this scope on my Ruger No. 1, .45-70, for many years. It just cannot be beat for hunting in heavily forested areas with thick brush cover. I am getting a lever action, also in .45-70, for wild pigs. Those who have hunted wild pigs know that a quick follow-up shot (or two) is a real good idea. Hence the lever action rifle. But, regardless of which rifle you carry ... this scope will put you on target and on the mark every time!!

I knew Leupold scopes could handle the recoil of heavy 45-70 loads in my Guide Gun. The heavy duplex is fast on target and works very well in dim light also. The scope is bright, precise and has ample eye relief.
