I bought this in 2013 and it still works great. I used this all the time on my hunting lease until I let go of the lease in 2016. Now I use it occasionally for hunting hog. Dependability and long life as I expect from Leupold.

I deer hunt bought one two months ago and someone broke into my barn and stole it. I loved it.No problem with it at all. The only thing that was a little negative was at dusk it was hard to see the deer. All of my leupold scopes on my guns show brighter looking through them at dusk than the eye can see. But over all I'll give it a 9 out of 10. For the money. Heck you can't beat it.

Unlike Jim from Florida, I recognize Leupold as being the only premier manufacturer of optics in the USA. He would have been better served by buying a golf specific rangefinder from Leupold (i.e. GX series). This RX series rangefinder is intended primarily for hunting. This unit is compact, well-built and has great performance. The lower end rangefinders are only good up to maybe 200 yds on a deer. IMHO, it is a value at under $200.

I find that this Leupold often picks up other objects other than the flag and I often get mis-readings that I know are wrong and I have to shoot the flag often 2-3 times. My friends have other brands and they can read the flag correctly the first time and quickly. I would not buy this again and would send it back but I did not keep the box and the company will not take it back without the original packaging which is too bad as I would purchase a better one if they did.
