Make sure new products aren’t used

The gel functions as it should but was not in “new” condition. Wrinkled, scuffed and dirty. I needed it as soon as I received it and didn’t have time to return and wait for another.

Great and inexpensive but delicate

This sheet is great if used correctly. It is cheap for the amount of material. It is delicate and easily scratched and crimped. Also, be careful if doing polarized work because it is birefringent. I studied it between two crossed polarizers and it can act as a half-wave plate. Attached is photos of it between polarizers in aligned orientation and 45 degrees, showing that it rotates the polarization. Not sure if that is intentional or not.
