Just under 2 years old, and the motherboard failed. Repair cost was $900, so I decided to throw it away. I love my Lenovo Thinkpads. I've bought 5 Lenovos over the years but this one's life was very disappointing.

It's way lighter than you expect it to be, with the best keyboard I've ever used on a laptop. My MacBook Air feels like a dangerous piece of sharp aluminum now, and my Microsoft Surfase feels like a tablet with a ratty type cover?.. (never thought I'd feel that way about either of those machines)? love the track point, and reach for the Nano even before my phone to check email etc? leave it on sleep mode most of the time, when not in use and the battery lasts all day! Amazing!!

Think Pad is a gold standard to laptops . My simple serach criteria is too check options within ThinkPad range and choose one. Longeivity and Reliabibility is guaranteed. In recent times there has been vast improvement in looks and now the machine has an attrcative design too. To use a phrase what a beauty in looks and beast in performance combination.!!! Three Cheers

When I first received my ThinkPad, I was surprised at how small it was. Even the USB ports are small, which made me concerned that none of my accessories (mouse, calculator, printer connection, etc.) would fit. A quick trip to a computer store, though, and I had an adapter that connects up to 4 gadgets with regular USB connectors to the ThinkPad. Now, everything works great, I can easily carry this lightweight computer anywhere, and it's FAST! I love it.

I've had this for a few weeks now and here are my initial impressions. Size and weight are amazing but It's not without a few kinks. First off, the small size comes with keyboard sacrifices, most notably, the pageup and down keys were crammed in next to the arrows on the lower right side. Second, coming from an Asus, I'm still getting used to the lower left button being Fn and not Ctrl. I don't personally feel the need for the red lenovo mouse button, but more importantly, there's a minor QC issue with my trackpad and it feels like there's a little bit of space under it that makes it crinkle ever so slightly. The webcam is absolute junk compared to any other modern device, so much so that I'm somewhat embarrassed to be on a meeting with it. It's both pixelated and doesn't deal well with variable lighting. Finally, I've had to reinstall the bluetooth driver, since it crashed on me within the short period I've had the device. At the discounted price I bought this for, I still think it's an awesome machine with great specs and a solid battery life, but I am a little disappointed by how many little things seam to be adding up this quickly.

small and light, sturdy, and fast. all with the best keyboard on any laptop. The keyboard is the same size as my previous 14in X1s, it just goes almost edge to edge. The top cover is rock solid some special material. The high end lenovo computers have always lasted me at least 4 years, with heavy business use. I have no doubt this one will be the same.

Really happy with this laptop, amazingly thin, fast boot and login, Windows Hello with camera works great (login with face only. My company offered a MacBook Air M1 or this and I've been really happy I got the Nano, the screen is great, case is great, if you're in the market for a lightweight PC laptop that has the build quality you expect from Lenovo, you can't beat the X1 Nano. It's the perfect road warrior PC Laptop

First bootup after opening package - suffered from "We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes." error message. The error looped for several hours without progressing. Had to shut off wifi to force computer to start.

Great little laptop. Superior battery, and one of the best keyboards in the business (good travel and key feel). It's a gorgeous little machine, and so light I felt like they must have left out something! It would be great to have some more I/O ports, but I understand that this is a mobile machine, and for that it's great.

1. Unit took almost 2 months to arrive although the unit was completed and ready to ship within two weeks. It sat on a Shenzhen loading dock for a whole month. 2. In less than 24 hours after receipt a key on the keyboard stuck rendering the unit unusable. 3. I now have to wait 5-7 days for a replacement keyboard to ship before a service visit will be scheduled.

The weight and rigidness of the Nano is amazing. I work as a home hospital teacher while finishing a master degree and move around all day from office to homes and back again. I have all types of apps and windows open while on video calls and have never had any issues. If you're mobile there is no better laptop simply based on how it feels during use. It literally disappears and lets you focus on your work.

The X1 Nano is so close to being the perfect travel laptop! It packs a huge number of quality components and great features while being incredibly compact. Even next to the original X1, the Nano is really small yet it delivers almost everything its less small sibling does. The new display is a marvel to look at. It provides highly improved color accuracy, much better contrast and the anti-glare coating makes it readable anywhere. The taller 16:10 aspect-ratio is a welcome change that compensates for the smaller 13" diagonal and makes working more comfortable. The backlit keyboard is excellent and maintains comfortably-sized keys. Having the Track-Point with 3 mechanical buttons, like on most but not all other ThinkPads, is really good for efficient users. Note that I cannot comment on the Trackpad since those are not my preference. It is nice to have good sound and webcam and microphone combination that playback and record in high quality. The builtin privacy shutter is good for peace-of-mind and the fingerprint reader on the X1 Nano is accurate and responds quickly. Since I keep the shutter closed most of the time, I do not use the camera to login and don't know if it is as performing. The ThinPad X1 Nano shows very good performance for an ultra-book. Its builtin graphics is sufficiently good for general usage and allows the screen to update quickly. There is truly one thing that makes the X1 Nano narrowly miss being perfect and that is the port situation. There are only 2 ports on this laptop, both right next to each other on the left side. Since one is used to charge, there is truly only one free port that can be depended on. It also means that power outlets inconvenient when they come from the right. Both ports are USB-C which is a good modern option but since the only USB-C hub has only USB-A ports, it is hard to use both types of devices, including almost anything that requires a dongle, since those are nearly always USB-A. It would have been much better if there were a USB-C port on each side and one USB-A port, somewhere. Since the charging block is USB-C, it could sport an Ethernet port which would have been icing on the cake! Still, there is currently no better lightweight laptop.

Man the size and the build I got is perfect for my real estate business. Light enough to carry with me all day. and I dock it to a 49" Ultrawide monitor for multitasking. I use it to edit videos, images, and run my entire real estate business

This laptop was exactly what I was looking for! It's small and lightweight that it's not cumbersome to use and it's incredibly capable of handling anything you throw at it! I've been using the laptop for a few days now and love it. I haven't had any major issues yet (I'll update this post if I do). The biggest draw back I see is that this computer only has 2x USB-C ports and no USB 3.0 ports. I've had only one issue thus far from the X1 Nano not being able to install to my Cannon MG3220 printer (connected through USB via Lenovo Docking Station adapter) because it couldn't connect properly. I'm going to try some other methods first before contact the Lenovo Help Desk for support.

I bought this laptop for daily commute, for some work, browsing and media (music, video) use. The build is great. It has a really low / thin profile. Been using it for a few months now and have no issues. Upgraded easily to Windows 11 Pro. The battery is pretty solid. I use it on battery save mode and it lasts a solid 10 hours with light media use.

What I would call a light heavyweight champion. Love everything about this machine. The only thing is that I've found some minor issues with caching on Chrome. Some pages need to be reloaded due to poor caching. I'm not sure if this is a Windows 11 issue or it's the machine. I'm really hoping its Windows 11 since it's still in it's early launch stage. I'm leaning towards Windows more because this is an i5 with 16gbs of ram. All aside, I would highly recommend this laptop - especially if you like a lightweight (lighter than macbook air!) without compromising the performance

Its perfect size for students and other business men. It is very light and thin, however, it was overheated right at the start.
