Great slim laptop
I got a Thinkpad T14s Gen 2 for my highschooler. At first, price and weight were the main factors, but wow was I impressed with this laptop. With Intel i7 processor,, 16Ram, 512 Storage UHD and eprivacy. This laptop is built to last. 14" is great to carry around. We set up a docking station at home with an external monitor. The laptop is fast and responsive. The eprivacy feature became a very useful feature, they can turn it on/off in the classroom. I just placed an order for a second T14s.

Great Everyday Driver
I have had this laptop for 4 months and so it has had zero issues. Portable, durable, affordable, reliable, and fast enough to use for work. Happy so far.

ThinkPad Quality
It's exactly what you expect, a ThinkPad. You turn it on and silently it just works. Beautiful design, light, powerful, good battery life. A ThinkPad.

Excellent Product, Excellent Support!
Love this laptop! It's compact, reliable, and performs incredibly well. The addition of a backup charging port is a genius idea to ensure it can always charge.

Generally good, but...
I bought this computer a year and 6ish months ago... and the battery is dead. Aside from that and the right track pad button getting stuck from time to time I've been generally happy with it.
Screen is nice, and bright enough for my use.
Keyboard is great aside from the aforementioned right click button.
Sound is okay- you won't impress friends, but its not bad.
Its a generally pretty speedy PC. Starts up quick, does everything I need it to do pretty fast.
Power consumption has always been a bit of a problem, which I'm sure lead to my now completely dead battery. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with my upgraded screen, but I am 6 months out of warranty and stuck with a desktop computer until I can figure out a replacement.
I'm not sure if my experience is par for the course with Lenovo, but 2 years out of a battery should be the minimum in a light usage case like mine. You almost made it... :(
The rest of the computer is great, but that battery dying... definitely left a bad taste.

Awesome laptop
Got introduced to Lenovo laptops at my last job. When it came time to buy a personal laptop, I did not hesitate to purchase a Lenovo. I am extremely satisfied with my new laptop.

The windows do not shrink to fit. When opening a page with an icon on the bottom that you need to click, it is not always accessible. You have to shrink the window by using the arrow. I think this type of feature of shrink to fit would make the overall user experience better.

Graphics are awful
The graphics are awful on this computer. I've tried both Windows 10 and Windows 11 (native resolution) and have changed all the ClearType settings, etc. and everything is still blurry. The webcam is also advertised as FHD, but it definitely is not. The screen brightness is also poor...I would go with 400+ nits.

Good choice for universal applications
The universal dock is the best choice for environments where it is not known if the primary connector is HDMI or Displayport.

No Windows or software
I was told by customer service that it would come with Windows. It did not and I had to purchase separately. Very disappointed in the transaction and if I knew it didn't come with Windows, I would have gone with my second choice.

The worst but most expensive computer I ever bough
It starts fast. Browsing is fast. Saving a picture takes minutes and freezes the browser. Uploading a picture freezes a window with a folder. It cannot handle a folder with a few hundred files, freezes. Etc.
Any basic action requires a few minutes.
Bottom line: I bought myself frustration for lots of money. This money could be spent much better.

Fast black business machine? fingerprint magnet
Device came defective, so I had to return it. Fast, and compact machine that delivers good performance. The keyboard is not a good as previous T series, but the performance, portability and aesthetics are one of the best for business laptops as of 2021. Sadly, I had to return it, but otherwise I recommend getting the grey color, as black is the biggest fingerprint magnet color.

Lenovo sucks
My computer was purchased in early March. I didn't start to use it until March 31 when I retired. On April 13 the computer tried to download an intel update and it didn't work. An error message was displayed ?the download didn't work and the computer is in a terrriible software loop. I called tech support?the motherboard needs to be replaced. Really?.the machine is brand new?.what a disappointment?the part wasn't readily available and now I have to wait. In my opinion, the company should have sent an immediate replacement overnight. What a disappointing experience..

ThinkPad T14s Gen 2 Intel (14") -
The Thinkpad is little smaller than what I usually buy but I was it fits into my backpack nicely. The boot up is pretty fast, the installed software was glitchy right out the box but after calling tech support they had me upgrade windows and the bugs went away. Love that there are multiple options to signing in, I prefer the fingerprint reader. This computer is super fast navigating between screens, battery life is pretty good I was able to go most of the day without recharging. Love the fact that you can pin your favorite apps on the dashboard. So far satisfied with my purchase.

This device has the best value super packed with standard, up-to-date, and future-proofed (extra mem, great modern processor, etc...) that for the price was the best yet. DEFINATELY RECOMMENDED if you want to save some $ and get the high-end experience.
