Ordered the product it wasn't delivered by estimated delivery date. I reached out to customer service for an update but was told to wait until 5 days had passed after est. delivery date. At the 5 day mark, I reached out to customer service again and they submitted a ticket. Several days later I was told the product was sold out and wouldn't be restocked (it was a fairly new model). I had to request a refund, which took another couple of weeks to receive. Lenovo has great products, but the fulfillment experience was so bad I had to go with another manufacturer.

I think the build of the computer is very sleek and professional. I also think the stylus features are very smooth and it is my favorite part about this computer. My only design critic is I would like a charging port on both sides of the computer because I tend to have my charger dragging around my computer since I am faced one way, and the port is on the other side of the computer. I would also hope for an extended battery life. But otherwise I love this laptop!

This is one of the worst engineered laptop I've had the misfortune of buying. I regret buying this and I wish I could return it. I used to be a lenovo fan but no more. This laptop is so bad, it makes me want to buy an Apple laptop. I was so excited to use this laptop because it's touch screen and folds back. But I've had issues with this laptop since the day I took it out of the box. For a brand new laptop, it a long time to start up. It heats up so much that I can't even touch. IT IS HOT!!! And I've only turned it on and opened the internet browser. It has a glitch where the screen dims randomly when I get a pop up or open a new window. This only happens sometimes and it's very annoying. The fingerprint reader stops working after like the first week. And if you thought this laptop was horrid, wait till you encounter their customer service. It took them months to reach out to me after I put a ticket in for the issues and escalating it. When I did call their tech support, guy said it can't be Lenovo, must be Microsoft. Go contact them. One helpful tech did reach out to me but their help was futile because the laptop is so horribly engineered. This review was written by an electrical engineer. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Please do not buy this laptop. Save your money and buy something better.

We just bought 2 of these for our company and could not be happier. The screens are crisp and clear and the set up was easy. The I-7 processor makes quick work of anything that we need to do. The screen flip and stylus work great for collaboration.

I bought two of these after the State Public Defender supplied me with one for free. The device provided by the State was very locked down. The one I bought for myself and another attorney in my firm is very quick and responsive. It has all the processing power I need and is rugged and has a good battery life for court.

I bought this a few months back and to be honest haven't spent as much time with it as I should have. And there is really only one thing that irks me. When I open the laptop always opens with the screen upside down, like I've had it in tablet mode instead of closed. I've tried everything and nothing works! Yes, even locking the rotation doesn't do it. Drives me bonkers. Aside from that I have no complaints thus far

I made an order for ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 7 Intel (14") on 03/06/2023. I recieved the product on 03/20/2023 around 3:30PM. Around 4 PM same day when I tried to start the laptop, I got FAN ERROR. I was searching extensively for a business critical laptop and I choose this product even though my friends said I'm a fool to pick this product. Turns out that I'm indeed a fool. This is 2023 and how careless a company can be at this time when customer satisfaction is considered a top priority. I'm utterly disappointed in this product. This kills my interest in this product. For the next upcoming years and thereafter everytime I see this product, I can remember how awful I felt spending my money on this overrated product. Sorry to say this but I would never recommed this expensive, non-working, defective product nor the services to my near and dear

The overall performance is OK for me. Quality is good. Touch screen is good. Pen is good. But it will be hot after running.

I purchased the x1 custom build with the cellular modem mostly because the x13s which my wife uses for work would not run the cad program I use for 3d printing. I already had the plan and I replaced a 5 year old Samsung book with this, and I'm glad I did. I needed something I could take wherever I wanted and still be able to do what I needed to and not hav3 to rely on a wifi connection. Granted the i7pro is very power hungry, about 2.5 hours straight before I get the warning that I made it to less than 20% battery and it will throttle it for battery usage. It does well for what it is. Yes the fan can be loud, but if you have been in the tech business as long as I have, the flow for this little bitty fan is sufficient for what it is cooling, especially when you load the processor up and make her work. As for a "laptop" it will get fairly warm on the right side, nothing extreme like I have had with older machines in the past. Over all an excellent machine if you need power on the go, but you will need access to power if you elect for the i7. Great machine, great portability, and with the discounts over the holidays a great buy.

Purchased to replace a recently purchased X13 Yoga Gen 3 with the odd ePrivacy Filter option (500 nits for outdoor use was an initial requirement). We had almost all specs max out and the OLED 4K display. Our use is office/financial work with many applications opened at the same time (3 external monitors attached to the thunderbolt 4 dock) and some browsing/entertainment, no gaming. The cons are: edges on the metal chassis are really sharp, it gets pretty warm if pushed, backlit is not as good/uniform/smart as competitors and does not have the smart card reader as an option (it is a business laptop!)...well, not too many I think? Battery lasts around 4-5 hours of browsing in the power saving mode that does not really affect the experience. Display is gorgeous, included pen is so useful and performance is great for our use case. You really feel to have a powerful premium pc in a very light and compact form factor.

I was a prior owner of the x1 yoga gen 3 and enjoyed using it but it came to an unfortunate end when I cracked the screen. I got the gen 7 with the i5 and 16 gb ram which is plenty for my use as a student. The machine can easily handle switching from normal laptop mode to tablet without any stuttering, which was an occasional issue on the gen 3. It has a solid feel and is still very light. Battery life is good for my typical use. My only complaint is that I miss the matte black look of the old gen 3 version even if it did leave finger prints like crazy. All things considered, I am happy with my purchase.

Overall satisfied, but right from the start it continuously has an error and is unable to install MS Windows update no matter what I try. Therefore always comes up not up-to-date.

The device is lightweight fast and functional. I like the availablity of the two types of USB ports and the HDMI port. The only drawback is that I did not realize it did not have the necessary camera for facial recognition.

My wife had been using my old MS Surface Pro 3 for a while now, but it was on its last leg and she wanted something reliable of her own. I started looking for traditional clamshells because the floppiness of the Surface annoyed her sometimes, but she liked the tent/tablet mode and pen input for documents. The Thinkpad X1 Yoga hits that middle ground so well. Other than the weird hinges, you'd never notice it wasn't a "normal" Thinkpad, and the fact that the CPU isn't behind the screen means it doesn't have the same heat issues as the Surface line. Performance is stellar, the secret stylus garage is super useful, and the form factor is just really well-executed. So far, she loves it.

The fingerprint reader on the power button is a great security feature. Its two Thunderbolt 4 ports, along with two Type A and HDMI 2.0 makes its connectivity great.
