Would have been 5 star if it had a removable battery and if it was easier to completely disable the hybrid graphics and go completely discrete graphics.

P15v Gen 3 AMD for CAD

The P15v has been great so far. I have been mostly using it for CAD and it has handled it as well as my work issued laptop, a Dell Precision 5750. The P15v has all the different ports I could need without having to use a bunch of annoying adapter dongles. The old style 1.8mm travel keyboard is fantastic to type on and the battery life is extremely impressive for a workstation laptop.

Everything but the WiFi is great!

What I like: 4K display is great for pictures and video, 32GB of DRAM, 1 TB SSD w/connector for second SSD, sufficient 2 USB 3.2 and one USB C port, SD card reader. All this in a well built laptop. What I don't like: There's something wrong with either the hardware or the OS that limits the WiFi card to <30 Mbit download, < 3 (and sometimes < 1) Mbit upload, while my previous laptop is still getting 150+ Mbit download AND upload speeds with our gigabit ISP connection. Ethernet works fine. I connected a USB wireless adapter and made numerous modifications to the OS and registry settings and finally got speeds as good as the old laptop. I have no idea why this was even a problem.

Powerhouse, with a couple minor issues...

Super versatile and a powerhouse. I use it to run AutoCad for work and the extra RAM really helps. A couple issues though: sometimes it will not wakeup from sleep mode so I changed to settings to avoid it going to sleep (the only way would be a hard restart). Also, it tends to drop the BT connection after going to sleep. Not sure if this is a software or hardware issue.
