My new ThinkPad has been fantastic for me and satisfies my business and personal computing needs. With 32 gigs of ram, it is lighting fast, and I am able to have many windows open at the same time without compromising performance. It is a perfect travel companion and easy for me to take anywhere. Can's say enough wonderful things about my Lenovo!

Excellent computer!
This computer has exceeded my expectations, which, admittedly, after having Dells for so long, weren't very high. But this has far exceeded them! So far, so great! My last two Dells were total wastes of money, and for what I paid for them, I could have had a very good Lenovo, had I just known how great they are. This computer was on sale and I can't say enough how happy I am with this computer for what I paid for it!

Great business laptop
I use this laptop for my business when I have to travel. It is very fast and responsive. The graphics are beautiful and I believe it is a great value for my money.

Excellent computer, excellent value!
I'm quite happy with this computer so far. I had a Dell before this and it was pretty bad. It was cheap feeling, never worked right and the power cord wouldn't stay in. This computer has solved ALL these problems and the value was out of this world, catching it on sale so much!

Great mobile workstation at a great price!
Very happy with my P26s. I've had ThinkPad mobile workstations in the past and have never been disappointed - and once again this one is great! It has all the power to do everything I want, without all of the bells and whistles that always look nice but never get used. Perfect for what I need!

Great battery life power and price
We got a great price on this laptop around $2000-2500 with 64GB RAM (despite some models being soldered). We have heard great things about the battery life, screen, port selection, portability, and Ryzen CPU.

Very happy (Linux user, work and play)
I use this as my do-everything large laptop. (My more portable one is an older X1 Carbon.) For the OS I chose Bazzite DX Gnome, which is a Fedora Linux variant with added software for games and development. Note that this means I've wiped the SSD and am not using the copy of Windows that came with the computer, though I did boot that up first and it seemed fine. The experience with Linux on this is basically perfect, with everything working (even the fingerprint reader). The screen is fantastic and has an HDR mode available. The AMD 7840U is very powerful, the 64gb RAM is more than I need so it will be future proof. It's been a while since I had a laptop with a number pad and I'm starting to really appreciate it.
For work I have everything I need using only free software (GDrive and OneDrive come with the OS, and there are good office app packages available.) The large screen is great for document editing, and the 4k resolution means that text on screen is very sharp with no visible pixelation. It also does very well for image editing, with excellent color and enough screen space to have a large image in an editor with left and right panels, like the edit mode in Darktable. This would be a great computer to do crossover work, like production print layout in a desktop publishing app, or web design.
For games, the 780m iGPU is good, if expectations are managed. This isn't on the level of a modern desktop GPU. Those weight as much as this whole laptop and use 10x the electricity, so do the math. But if I want to run games at 1080p (which looks good on this screen because it's an integer scale) and 30-60fps depending on the game, it works very well. The bios has the option to assign 8gb, and dynamic allocation is allowed, so that's also more than enough for 1080p.

Perfect Laptop with some small flaws
Great performance and comfortable touchpad. Great battery life and the battery bypass feature is greatly appreciated to reduce battery wear when on the charger for prolonged periods of time. Great screen, oled is vibrant but somewhat reflective and creates a slight rainbow halo effect. The keyboard backlight is slightly uneven and on the dimmer side when using it in a not fully dark room. Not both USB-C ports are thunderbolt 4, and only 1 usb-a port on the right side of the laptop. Wifi performance is great and there is little flex when held with one hand on the corner. On the heftier side in terms of weight, great security including pre-desktop fingerprint authentication and startup password. Personally, I dislike the call buttons on the F9-F11 buttons as they are not reprogram-able natively and link to Microsoft Teams. Numpad has a great typing feel and I got used to the keyboard immediately. The speakers are very much below average with zero base, but it is functional for voice calls. The webcam is outstanding at capturing faces. The fan does rev up quite fast and is loud when under load, but only when on best performance. When on best energy efficiency or if energy saver is turned on, the fan is active, but cannot be heard. Overall, it is a great machine and flaws that I can live with.

Powerful machine, excellent price
The memory and processor on this machine are excellent, and our sales rep was able to help us even though we missed a sale by one day to get a similar discount. The OLED screen is a bigger improvement than I anticipated.

A powerful AMD chip, great screen, adequate keyboard, terrible speakers and a plastic case. If you're looking for an AMD chip without an NPU (and the threat of copilot), with an awesome screen, and you don't mind terrible speakers (adequate for meetings and that's about it), a slightly cheap feeling plastic body, and you can live with the idiotic red nipple in the middle of the keyboard, this is a good workhorse of a laptop. The keyboard position can also be awkward because of the inclusion of a full keyboard, with a keypad you'll never touch, that forces the hand position, and keyboard edge, too far to the left.

Super P16 System - just hard to find on web Site
The P16 with the AMD Ryzan 7 7840 processor and 64GB LPDDR5x-7500 RAM is amazingly strong. The underpinnings support the speed and the OLED screen generates crazy great visuals. Suddenly multiple concurrent massive excel files, data generation, and three monitors aren't challenging anymore. The biggest challenge is finding the right system on Lenovo's web site. Navigation and getting to where you want to be is still tedious and frustrating. And comparing models is near impossible. But this one was worth the persistence and effort and lot of bang for the buck.

ThinkPad P16
I recently purchased a Lenova ThinkPad P16 after much study and review of all new laptop computers available on the market. For many years I have used various other laptop brands supplied by my company. I used the work computer in an engineering environment, mostly running high-end CAD software. Of all laptops I have used for both personal and business, the Lenova ThinkPad used for business was the most reliable. Now being retired for a short while, I made the decision to upgrade my home personal laptop to the Lenova P16 and am happy to say, I am not disappointed! The new ThinkPad P16 exceeds all of my expectations. I chose the Ryzen Pro 7 processor over the Intel (used in all of my previous laptops) and I am happy to report it's a solid performer! It is extremely fast and quiet. I love it! I will continue to look to Lenova for all of future needs!
