It's easy, razor blade it to fit the window. Clean the window with Windex. Re-wet the window when it's clean, press the cut piece against the window. Squeegee it. You now have a neutral density filter reducing light -4 stops! For indie filmakers... You need to have 2 rolls of this at all times cause typically your cameras can't cover 17 stops of dynamic range... This is how you keep the window and the properly exposed in the frame. A must buy.
