the sound system is very good, battery life is so so, I would not say that I get longer than 3 hours of continuous surfing, screen is amazing, touch is very responsive, front edge of laptop is a bit 'sharp' on the wrists if you are lounging around with it on your lap. It is a bit large to carry around in tablet mode but nice to be able to share with a friend visually while watching video etc.

I purchased this machine for work, I am an Information Security Professional, so that I could keep up and manage client systems on the go. This machine is built rock solid with a full aluminum chassis all around and a beautiful responsive glass touch screen. The trackpad is surprisingly responsive and accurate, I don't normally like a trackpad but I find myself actually using this one. There are two limitations to this machine, if you consider them limitations, the first is the hard drive in the computer because it is a choke point due to it's speed. The other is the fact that it comes with the maximum amount of supported memory but honestly 8gb of memory is way more than most need anyway, even gamers. If you purchase one of these and the slower response times discourage you simply find a nice SSD on sale and upgrade the HDD to an SSD and this baby will scream right along with 15 second boot times and instant application loading. As a disclaimer though you should check with Lenovo to make sure upgrading the hard drive yourself will not void the factory warranty. If so you may want to leave things the way they are until that runs out or consider purchasing a secondary warranty that is not affected by such restrictions. I hope this helps a few people in the purchasing decisions.

So far, I am enjoying the laptop. I find myself having to adjust to the new layout of the keyboard. So right now, I am mistyping like crazy. It should be no problem once I am used to it. The touch pad isn't responsive sometime. I am okay with it because I use an external mouse anyways. Overall, it is a wonderful laptop for the price.

This computer is super sleek, very slim and it has medium level components. I only gave it 4 stars because I hoped for it to come in 16GB, but for the price, you can't beat the specs! This is my third Lenovo laptop and I'm surely not dissapointed. Thanks Adorama for the sale!

This is a very nice laptop, very well designed, excellent specs, and a workhorse. And the price was very good also. Although I have read that some people have experienced some issues with its WIFI connection, I think the remedy is to update the drivers from Lenovo's web site.

I love my so far experience of one month with Lenovo Edge 2. It was easy to setup the account compared to my previous experience with windows 10. The best feature of this laptop is using it as a big screen tab with fabulous sound experience. Touch response is also very good on screen. Cons: only thing I can think of is its weight.

It all works as it should. It has good speed, good amount of storage memory, and has worked well for me. The only thing I didn't like was the size. I don't like the extra 1/2 inch or so all around the screen. It makes the overall size of the laptop bigger than I was hoping. I do recommend the laptop though.

This laptop has all the performance necessary to meet the needs of anyone working in an environment where a larger screen is necessary. The speed and storage capacity are outstanding and the weight meets the requirements for taking on the road. A nice change from an older, heavier laptop. I would recommend this machine.

Well constructed, thin, light weight laptop with important features such as super sharp full 1080 IPS touchscreen, i7 processor with 8 GB RAM, and lighted keyboard, for an excellent price. I really like being able to fold this laptop into an A-frame tablet mode. Charging input has been changed to a small rectangular plug, a needed upgrade from my previous Lenovo which had a troublesome odd shaped USB type plug, that is easily mistaken for one of the USB ports, and stopped working after 2 charges. This design is superior and should be problem free.

I really like the feel of this convertable laptop/tablet. I'm glad I have such a large hard-drive, without the large price. The only downside is the physical size (about 1-1/2" larger than I thought it would be).

I was surprised at how well the Edge 2 functioned. Fast even with slow hard disk. I plan to eventually change to SSD, but the 1tb mechanical HD is sufficiently fast with the i7 CPU. The screen is gorgeous and the sound is remarkable for a lappy. Although I am only 1 month with the Edge, I am very pleased so far. Great buy.

I like the looks and design of the lenovo edge 2. But it constantly drops Wi-Fi if you can even get it to connect. Sometimes the Wi-Fi option completely disappears when you go to network settings. It's very aggravating since 90% of the reason i bought this was to do online stuff with it. I'm having it looked at this week. Hopefully they can fix it.
