It doesn?t have much storage (at least mine doesn?t) also it is difficult to open the bottom of it to add on anything

I've had this laptop now for 2 almost 3 years and it has served me well. I take it with me on the motorcycle to work 2-5 times a week. Through all the bumps and vibrations she has held up well so far. My only issue is the crack that has formed on the back side of the screen case. I believe it is due to the resisting forces fighting the screen from opening too easily. With that said I would absolutely buy from them again and recommend them.

I bought this laptop in the Spring of 2018 because my laptop at the time (also a Lenovo) was falling apart after seven years of use. I did a ton of search before buying and and I could not be more satisfied. After several years of use, this laptop is going strong. A major reason I bought this computer over others I was looking at was the four fans at the back of the laptop. They are a bit loud a times, but so worth having. My computer has never overheated, and I can play the games I like without a problem. There are no really bugs or issues. I have read other reviews and I can say haven't had a problem or anything like that. The only problem I do get sometimes it is doesn't always seem to completely shut down and ends up sluggish the next morning upon boosting up. But a quick restart always solve it. But that's only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. If I could, I'd give it 4 1/2 stars. This computer holds up well. I do think the charging jack has become loose or pushed in too far, making it harder to charge, but I own that up to my own mistakes and not the fault of the computer. I have trip over the cord quiet a few times, yanked the cord out, and accidentally dropped it, and save for the jack loosening, it's held up. I am sad they disconnected it because it is an excellent computer and still works well, even after all this time.

I bought this computer maybe three years ago already to do computational applied mathematical research. I can max this machine out 24/7 for weeks on end (not kidding) without any problem whatsoever! Am I happy! You bet I am! Best research laptop I ever owned (and I owned quite a few,). I can only mention the flimsy construction overall however. Especially the screen. It feels like opening up the cover and the thing will warp popping right out. But it doesn't. Frankly, this is not a machine you can bang around so beware. The screen is not the best either; not very bright. But you have to compromise somewhere; I care about raw power first. My displays are exclusively math graphs. Yes, some other laptops will have brighter displays, but my budget was limited; so I am happy. Best performance for the money.

It's a good laptop for who is starting to get into the games, but for who is used laptops and computers for years i wouldn't suggest this one to you. Lenovo legion y520 has a few problems one of them is lag drops and other is RAM but it can be fixed easily.

There is only one point to criticise for me. It is the backlight of the keyboard. I have a disease of retinitis pigmentosa. It makes it really difficult to see the red light. If there would have been a chance to change the color of the it would be perfect. Thx:-)

I like the view, the picture quality is very high and clear! High level games do not stutter and it can accommodate any game. Te battery is strong and the keyboard is very comfortable! I'm in love with this laptop!

The deal was great and I was very excited to receive the laptop. First red flag was when I saw a sticker on the box that says that the laptop was tested for re-use. When I made the purchase, the description clearly stated that it was Brand New. The first game that was installed, which was a simple steam game that didn't require any major specs, after 30min the laptop ran hot and it crashed with a blue screen. I rebooted the laptop 5 times and each time I tried to run the game again, it would crash with the blue screen. I know Lenovo makes good products, and I will probably buy another. It was just bad luck I guess.

Bought it few weeks ago. Have been putting it through so intensive gaming sessions and its performing really well for the price. Not really budging from the 60fps in most of my games. Heat seems good as long as you put it on a table or flat surface. Battery life is not the greatest but not many gaming laptops have great battery life. Certain times screens brightness/coloring seems a bit dull but i don't have any issues with that as only movies/shows that have a night scene is it really bad. I gave this a 5 because its really a great budget laptop, for gaming, photo editing, video editing, coding and much more. It is an outdated model (i still got the 16gb with 256ssd and 1060 but don't let that fool you from its performance
