Take your video system applications to the next level with the sophisticated 812-OP/H Analog Pulse Generator, Color Subcarrier, Composite Sync. This advanced piece of equipment, designed by the reputable Link Electronics, is engineered to provide composite sync, composite blanking, and color subcarrier for systems requiring 4Vpp drive pulses and 2Vpp subcarrier.
Each output pulse of this high-tech generator is meticulously controlled to meet EIA standards, ensuring it can drive a 75 Ohm load at its specified voltage. The color subcarrier output is filtered for low harmonic distortion and is powered by a discrete amplifier, offering clear and detailed images for your calibration and testing needs.
The 812-OP/H Analog Pulse Generator is designed to fit seamlessly into the SPG-812 chassis, where it can reside alongside various analog and digital modules, with a capacity of up to six modules per chassis. This professional-grade generator is equipped with a user-friendly interface and a range of adjustable parameters, allowing for customization of test patterns to suit specific requirements.
When gen-locking to incoming video, the SPG-812 chassis can accommodate either an analog 812 OP/C, genlock to analog black, or a 812 OP/D digital genlock module in slot #2. This innovative setup places the timing pulses down the motherboard bus as a reference, allowing the 812-OP/H pulse generator module to lock the PLL on the module and reset the vertical and horizontal counters within the complex programmable logic devices. This synchronization ensures all counters are timed by an external reference.
The 812-OP/H Analog Pulse Generator also features a stability of 2.5ppm over the operating temperature range of 0deg. to 70deg. C, thanks to the Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillator (VCXO). The rear panel of the SPG-812 chassis accommodates a connector for remote control of the test pattern generator, and two test pattern generators can reside in the same frame, one local and one remote.
With its power supply voltage fault indication, the 812-OP/H ensures optimal performance by monitoring all three supply voltages and turning off the green LED if one or any is lower than a nominal value. The PCO-818 automatic pulse change-over modules can operate independently or in synchronized operation, and two PCO-818 change-over chassis can be interlinked to switch all modules should a failure occur in the master generator.
In summary, the 812-OP/H Analog Pulse Generator, Color Subcarrier, Composite Sync is a sophisticated, high-tech, and professional tool for any television and video industry professional seeking to optimize their equipment calibration and testing processes.
