Just as the television and video production industry demands advanced and reliable equipment, the 812-OP/K Analog Pulse Generator by Link Electronics delivers. This sophisticated device is engineered to provide H Drive, V Drive, and color subcarrier for system applications that necessitate 4Vpp drive pulses and 2Vpp subcarrier.
Each output pulse from this high-quality generator is controlled to meet EIA standards, ensuring it can drive a 75 Ohm load at its specified voltage. The color subcarrier output is meticulously filtered for low harmonic distortion and is powered by a discrete amplifier, offering unparalleled performance.
The 812-OP/K Analog Pulse Generator is designed to fit seamlessly into the SPG-812 chassis, where it can reside alongside various analog and digital modules, with a capacity of up to six modules per chassis. This versatile setup allows for a customized configuration based on your specific needs.
When gen-locking to incoming video, the SPG-812 chassis can accommodate either an analog 812 OP/C, genlock to analog black, or a 812 OP/D digital genlock module in slot #2. This module sends the timing pulses down the motherboard buss as a reference, which the 812 OP/K pulse generator module then uses to lock the PLL on the module and reset the vertical and horizontal counters within the complex programmable logic devices. This process ensures all counters are timed up by an external reference.
The 812 OP/K Analog Pulse Generator also features a Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillator (VCXO) with a stability of 2.5ppm over the operating temperature range of 0deg. to 70deg. C. This ensures consistent performance even under varying conditions.
The rear panel of the SPG-812 chassis, which houses the 812-OP/K, is designed to accommodate a connector for remote control of the test pattern generator. This allows for the operation of two test pattern generators in the same frame, one local and one remote, providing additional flexibility.
The device also includes a power supply voltage fault indication system that monitors all three supply voltages and turns off the green LED if one or any is lower than a nominal value. This feature ensures the safety and longevity of your equipment.
The 812-OP/K Analog Pulse Generator is a testament to Link Electronics' commitment to producing durable, reliable, and advanced equipment for the television and video production industry.
