This module sends the timing pulses down the motherboard buss as a reference, which the 812 OP/K pulse generator module then uses to lock the PLL on the module and reset the vertical and horizontal counters within the complex programmable logic devices. This process ensures all counters are timed up by an external reference.

The 812 OP/K Analog Pulse Generator also features a Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillator (VCXO) with a stability of 2.5ppm over the operating temperature range of 0deg. to 70deg. C. This ensures consistent performance even under varying conditions.
