Be empowered with the versatile AVS-816, a dynamic audio switch matrix that offers eight customizable configurations. This unit can be set up for Analog, SD/SDI, or HD/SDI for Video and Audio, providing you with a wide range of options to suit your specific needs. The audio configuration can be tailored for AES or Analog, giving you the flexibility to work with different audio formats.

The 816-OP/D is a specialized AES/EBU audio plug-in board that, when combined with the AVS-816 chassis, forms an AES/EBU audio-only switcher. Please note that you must select the rear connector option for either BNC or Balanced.

The 816-OP/F option is the BNC unbalanced input, while the 816-OP/E option provides a balanced 3-Pin connector. To achieve the desired switcher format, you must select the AES audio matrix and video matrix.

With the AVS-816, you have the freedom to choose between analog or AES audio. If you opt for AES audio, you can select between BNC unbalanced or Plug-in 3-pin Weco balanced connectors. The 816-OP/D, AES plus the connector board, can be chosen for an audio switcher only.

The AES matrix features one AES output and one analog output for monitoring, ensuring you have complete control over your audio output. All AVS series come with software that allows you to control up to 32 switchers from a single computer, making it a powerful tool for managing your audio and video equipment.
