I got my 300e Gen 2 because I was having issues with my Kindle Fire and wanted a "real" computer. It's a very nice machine and does everything I need and more. My only disappointment with it is I ordered an accessory stylus but could not use it because there was a plastic plug in the port where the stylus is stored that could not be removed. When I talked to Lenovo, I was offered the option of returning the computer. I opted for returning the stylus. This is a good, little machine and I am very happy with it.

Great feeling notebook. I love the sturdiness of the entire outer case, as well as the keyboards. It has a high speed processor that allow me to get my tasks completed faster. Thank you Lenovo for offering such a great item. I will now be a Lenovo fan for life.

I brought this quickly as I needed a windows based computer for a class i was taking. It works great and does the job needed. I havent really done much in tablet mode, so can't say much there. But it runs great and makes a great addition.

I needed an additional machine that I could dual boot Windows and Ubuntu. This Lenovo 300e Gen 2 was the best value for money I could find, much better than Dell, HP, etc. Setting up the Windows side was a piece of cake, including managing multiple household accounts, and then repartitioning the hard drive to boot Ubuntu was straightforward as well. It's small, lightweight, and has great battery life. It does everything I need it to. The only reason I marked 4 instead of 5 stars is the fit and finish is noticeably poorer than my Lenovo Yoga 900, but it's also a fifth of the price, so the trade-off is understandable.

Purchased for my daughter, she needs to school. Overall no complains. I think the screen resolution could be improved. The battery holds well. In some photos it shows a pen that it supposed to come off from the laptop, but this one doesn't have the pen. Really sturdy. For the price paid, I think it was a good deal.

Great machine for the cost. The battery life surprised me in a great way. I'm able to write documents on it for hours without concern. Powerful and portable. It's able to run high quality audio and video clearly, the tablet mode is responsive and the case is solid. The speakers are quieter than I like but headphones solve that, no problem. Picked it up on sale and have no regrets.

This little 11 in laptop has a great set of ports. It has a nice feature where if it's inactive for a longtime, it shuts down, saving battery and has a long battery life. The only problem is that for a small laptop it is very heavy. It is thus not surprising that the weight was not listed in the specs.

Updated BIOS once received the unit. Getting a unable to update Windows message afterward. A full Windows Recovery solve the issue. Unfortunately that I had to reinstall all the apps. There are quite a bit of high CPU usage spikes while idling - no app is running except the Task Manager and the background tasks. The CPU spikes during idle can be over 80%!

Got this from my school, and use it as my primary laptop because well, I am very poor. It cant even run my schoolwork, let alone video games. And, if a Twitch stream has over 5k people watching, it cant run the stream. Meaning, I cant watch my favorite creators like Ranboo or Jack Manifold. It cant do anything, and the storage is horrendous. I dont even have enough space to store the things I have for school, and have to go without a lot of things just so I can have one game installed. I have to use this for another 3 years until I turn 18, and ive already had it for 2.

Very happy with this device. I mostly treat it like a netbook/laptop because I find the physical keyboard more comfortable and faster to use but I love having the option to use a stylus or my fingers on the screen as well as being able to set the screen at any angle.

Brightness is not adjustable even after updating all drivers and other software. Performance is subpar to other similarly priced laptops and color accuracy is abysmal. Better off buying any other branded laptop with a larger display and better processor for the same price. Included pen is also poor quality as it lags.

It's a good laptop for kids, though it quickly becomes very slow for even streaming. It does this weird thing when streaming. After about an hour or two the video starts to slow way down (internet/bandwidth not causing it) until it simply isn't playable anymore and i need to allow it to do nothing for about 20 or 30 minutes. It's either a memory issue or an overheating issue - though i have taken that one into consideration and ensure it has good ventilation and i've even gone as far as adding a fan, to no avail. Given it's just for my kids though, so far it's done an adequate job.

The laptop is amazing quality! It folds nicely and the screen is thick so it will not be damaged easily. Though there is no pen, the screen is sensitive and I can draw very nicely on it. There are several features within the laptop as well that are nice such as the notes and the general format. The fold style of the laptop is very convenient as it can be propped up with the keyboard folded behind to minimize the space needed to set your laptop. I'm using it for schoolwork and for digital art and it works great!

We use these extensively in our schools, they are a great mix between performance and battery life. They are also very durable for when the kids may not be so gentle with them.
