I have bought this laptop twice. And never again. Both times, the hinge detached from the screen, mere months after the warranty expired. Google the issue, and you see hundreds of others have suffered the same, and Lenovo is aware of it, they just don't care. After warranty expires, Lenovo support is entirely useless. And the repair costs half the price of the laptop itself.

The specs look great. The price looks great. With this combination of specs and price, I was excited to purchase a Yoga 7i 14", 16RAM, 1TB SSD. My issue right now is that this lenovo product doesn't know how to detect the peripherals like dual monitors connected to a USC-C hub when it comes out of hibernation. I use this exact hub to connect a Dell XPS and my XPS always detects and activates my dual monitors when it comes out of hibernation. The other reason that irritates me about this lenovo product is that when I tell it to hibernate, it reboots instead so I have to issue another hibernate command. Why lenovo? Again, my XPS doesn't have this behavior. I use both Windows 11 Pro on both machines. I can list a couple more that irritate me about this lenovo product but the above are my two biggest irritations. For these reasons, I will not buy lenovo products again.

Been a Lenovo customer for the past 20 years and had dozens of laptops from them. Quality used to be excellent, now it's so so. I had this laptop for 2 years now, it's fast (i7 w/16GB RAM), screen has pretty good brightness making it relatively usable in bright sun. Keyboard is good but not the best. Sound is pretty good. Touchpad is excellent and so is the fingerprint sensor. Webcam is usable but i've seen better. Fan is pretty quiet for the most part, no complaints there. Battery was exceptional out of the box, about 6-7h of consistent use, I'm getting about 4-5h now. Now to the cons. Hinges are a major issue on C700, Yoga 7i, as well as Ideapad & Flex (just google Lenovo hinge lawsuit or check Lenovo forums and you'll see what I'm taking about). They break or stick after the 1yr warranty runs out and even though it's a wide spread issue, Lenovo blames the user and asks for ridiculous amount of $ to fix. I was lucky that I bought a 2yr extended warranty with at home repair as one hinge broke 14 months after purchase. Initially they said it's damage and not covered even though laptop was like new with no damage whatsoever, I escalated to a supervisor and they agreed to fix it under the extended warranty. Repairman came home, replaced both hinges but cracked the screen when gluing it back. He ordered a new screen and replaced it a few days later. New screen didn't fit as well as it came from the factory and it was raised about 1 mm out of the back case on the left corner and left side. Didn't bother me too much and continued to use it. 8 months later I noticed light coming from what seemed to be a scratch on the corner of the left CTRL key. Kept wondering how did that get scratched as I am very careful with my devices. A week later it was clear that it wasn't a scratch, the key was cracked.Took it out to see how could that possibly happen and saw that the key is really thin and flimsy. Figured this will get blamed on me so I used super glue to glue it back as a new keyboard is about $70. One more week passed by and I noticed the touch function of the screen is not working anymore. I tried with my finger, with an Active 2 pen, no go. Reinstalled drivers, removed HID Touchscreen, rebooted, install it again, nothing worked. Called it for repairs, 3 days later I'm still waiting to get a call from the repairman. All in all, a performant laptop with mediocre reliability. I would buy one again but only with a warranty that covers damage, that way they won't try to get away blaming the customer for their poor manufacturing quality.

As other users have reported, the hinge on my Yoga 7i broke a couple of weeks after the warranty expired, however, I understand from other reviews and online threads that Lenovo is not covering the broken hinge under warranty because they are not accepting responsibility for it. I barely brought my laptop outside of the house, and only use it for school work at home and occasionally at coffee shops. I should have purchased a MacBook and regret this purchased.

This laptop is absolutely horrible I am not exaggerating when I have owned laptops that were 15 years older than this and they worked better they could literally transfer files better than this thing this does not allow you to transfer files media or anything else it has no good connections And can't run the simplest games

I bought this laptop around a year ago and didn't think much about the battery life since it was advertised as 8-10 hours. This was a complete lie, as the battery will often not last longer than an hour-long zoom call. It's got some good specs for performance which is the only reason I'm not giving it 2 stars. It essentially functions as a wired device, if you don't have it plugged in, you won't be able to use it very soon. It also does come with annoying Lenovo bloatware that cannot be removed and can take minutes to come out of standby. The touchscreen is somewhat nice, however.

I bought this Lenovo laptop to replace a 9-year-old Macbook because I thought it had good specs for the $1K price tag. It was a bad purchase from the beginning. Very soon after purchase, I had issues where the laptop would randomly shut down with light use and web browsers like Google Chrome would crash and require a restart. A clean boot and updating the drivers did nothing to solve the problem. The laptop also overheats and has poor battery life, even when there are few applications running. It is also very cheaply constructed. Recently, the bezel at the bottom of the screen came loose and will not stay in place. I can pop it back in temporarily, but it becomes dislodged when the top is moved even slightly.

An excellent laptop if not for the fact that the hinge broke exactly 1 month after the 1-year warranty expired. I had been closing it normally, and then it fell off the hinge and cracked the screen. I ended up paying $350+ to have it fixed, a significant proportion of the original cost.

I bought this laptop for school back in 2021 and it's still working great. Battery life is pretty good, and I like being able to put it into tablet mode when I'm using it for cricut stuff. I'm very happy with the product.

I bought this laptop a little over 3 months ago. It's a good looking laptop, works well(no hangups), video quality(2.2K) and color is awesome, 3:2 aspect ratio makes everything look bigger, awesome sound quality (the upwards facing speaker collect dust a little bit but not a problem). Had a little trouble at first finding the compatible stylus, but the lenovo e-color pen works well with this. BUT..... The hinge is very weak on the laptop. Within three months, the right hinge dropped down from it's original place. This caused the one side of the screen to be lower than the other and it kinda created a wobble to the laptop, since the screen supports the laptop when you tilt it back far enough. I sent it to the depot service and it's been a month, a MONTH and there's no progress. Initially when you create work request, it says five business days, then the customer service say 10 business days, but a month is too much. I think the thinkpad is a good alternative if u want a sturdier hinge, but if you want this specific one, be warned of bad customer service and hinges. What use is a aluminum body and good features, if the hinges the support those are weak?

Bought this laptop to use for grad school and overall I'm happy with the purchase, but the built-in webcam is the worst I have ever used. It's what you would expect from a laptop camera in 2012: very fuzzy quality, doesn't adjust to light very well, unflattering. I will be purchasing an external model for use bc it's really that bad.

I recently received a Lenovo yoga as a gift and have been very happy with it. It is lightweight and has multifunctional. In addition, it has a good software with compatibility for work, gaming or even business. I plan on using the lenovo for work purposes and am very careful with it.

The size and weight are great, though the build quality could be better. The keys are nice and the screen is too. Battery life was good as expected and the folding features were very handy. There was a defect with the device, but I was easily able to return it.

Best laptop/tablet I ever had. The touchscreen with the Lenovo active pen work very well, the sound is also very good. I use it for graphic designing, and I am impressed how seamless it is. It is also very portable. I read the reviews before I bought, and they were right. One of the best of 2022. Would highly recommend.

PROS: - price, I got it for ~$900 with tax during Black Friday deal and for that price it was a steal - fast enough for my needs so mainly some office and home staff - good display, could be brighter in sun but it's way better than my previous laptop - very good speakers (for a laptop) CONS: - battery life. It usually last for 4 hours before drops to 20% and I expected it will be more and because of that I dropped one star in rating - touchpad could be better too

Bought this last month prior to Black Friday. I had been looking for 2 months for a 2-in-1 that met my specifications (16gb RAM, 512gb SSD, 3lbs or under, Windows 11, great graphics, under $1000) without breaking the bank. When I saw this unit on sale, with a 1TB SSD, I jumped on it! I am so pleased with the performance, the look and feel, keyboard response, and display. I have not experienced any lag time, problems with setup, issues with software, or battery charging/discharging. Beautiful sleek style, and while it weighs in at just a tad over 3 lbs (1TB SSD), it is a product worth every penny I paid for it. Thanks, Lenovo.

Very light and easy to carry around. I was expecting the speed to be much better, but unfortunately the laptop doesn't handle very well my multi-tasking and too many open windows and running programs. I'm sure it can be optimized but I was hoping that 16 RAM and 1 TB in memory would do the trick for fast working. Instead I'm not too far off from the speed I had on my previous laptop. Nevertheless, the look is great and I like that it can become a tablet.

I caught this on sale when shopping to replace my old Yoga - the best laptop I've ever had. This one seems Smaller and sturdier than my last Yoga. I've been using it a couple of weeks and I really like it. However, Lenovo customer service is terrible.

I received Lenovo product on slightly promised delivery time but that is ok as they kept me communicating on update but I never expected that USB port would be having an issue. I had to struggle to keep the complaint open and deliver to their depot repair center but service times are also high. I am yet to use the laptop now

Better than expected. Was looking for a small study laptop and got more. Can run a few VM's no problem. Powerful but lightweight and long battery life for all day use! Fan is almost completely silent.

I have owned the 7i for a few days now and have tried it with various programs that I use and I find that after months of research, comparisons in store, reading and watching reviews, that I landed on the unit that suits my needs nearly perfectly. I liked the YOGA C940 but really didn't want or need a 4K display to pull battery life down, and the 7i has the FHD display that I find more than adequate. And 300 nits of brightness has been great so far. The 11th Gen i7 chipset with with integrate...
