Linux Ubuntu, It just works.
The hardware is what you would expect from Lenovo. Beautiful design and runs great.. However, Windows 11 is the worst! Had the laptop out of the box for less than an hour before installing Ubuntu 22.04. This took a great laptop and made it better! This replaced a 12-year-old Lenovo that has been used almost everyday and traveled many thousands of miles.

A very nice laptop with great functionality
This laptop is pretty slick and simple at the same time. It loads up nicely and processes all my applications smoothly without any hiccups. Gaming in 1080p has been a breeze and that's all I really needed. It is enjoyable to watch a video on this laptop with its crisp 120hz refresh rate. As it is this laptop does a lot of things great while upgradeable in the future if needs arise for more space or memory. I'm satisfied with this Lenovo IdeaPad 3 especially with the deal that I got.

Rough start, great support! Very happy.
To be honest I was about ready to throw in the towel on Lenovo. Previously I have always built my machines but this time around I wanted a laptop, and this machine was exactly what I was looking for. The first unit arrived quickly and unfortunately was dead on arrival. The replacement unit also arrived fast and in the middle of upgrades provided me a blue screen of death that could not be repaired instantly. Within a click away of asking for a complete and total refund I contacted support and was provided a recovery disk and began restoring the machine to its original state. Whatever happened before, did not happen again and I have been using this for a few weeks now. Very happy customer and looking forward to building a relationship with Lenovo.

Lemon with unresolved, permanent issues
I've sent this back twice because the machine losses wifi and bluetooth connectivity and options.

Works extremely fast.
I'm able to daily drive Linux with absolutely zero issues. I can make full use of my GPU, multiple displays and hardware features without and problem. I am even to stream using OBS and get everything I'd expect from streaming on Windows.
I also dual boot Windows. The time it takes to reboot is roughly 10-15 seconds. I am able to play heavy games such as Valorant and Phasmophobia with no lag. Updating the computer and it's drivers did not prove to be an issue.
Overall, 10/10 experience and am actively recommending it to friends in need.

Great gaming laptop
The Lenovo ideapad is a an over all wonderful experience. What is keeping me away from giving it a 5 star rating are the cons.
Pros- 120 hz display, amazing keyboard, powerful gpu, quiet fans, and a backlit keyboard
Cons- battery life not optimal, ram 8 gb, and 1080p display
While the pros outweigh the cons some may be tempted to avoid a product like this but rest assured that you will be getting your moneys worth as it is an amazing laptop.

Skyrim On Point

Lenovo ideapad
This is a fantastic laptop for the price. It is fast, quiet, and has a great display. Very well made. Don?t expect a $1500+ setup or you?ll be disappointed, but if you are in the $800-$1000 range this laptop is spot on.

Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3i
Overall, I say this laptop is a solid pick whether you go the AMD or Intel route.
Pros: Decent performing graphics and processor for a fairly good price given the high refresh rate of the panel.
Cons: The battery can be drained extremely quickly as gaming laptops are essentially just desktop replacements for mobility. If you are looking for a laptop for working then I would recommend looking at other options.
Tips: If you are planning to commit to the 3i, I recommend using the rapid charge feature to past 80% and then switch to the conservative and use the ac adapter to power your laptop as you game so you can use the remaining charge without the ac adapter for work. When working, I recommend turning on power saver mode to extend battery backup. Remember, the more power full the processing power and graphics, the faster it will eat charge.

Impressive quality at a modest price!
For the price, I really feel this laptop is hard to beat. Lenovo did a great job balancing price to performance and quality. This is a mid range laptop that punches above it's weight in regards to quality. Yes, it plays various modern games at high settings and can push 60+ fps on a lot of titles. However, I really can't stress enough the quality of the build. Sturdy, GREAT keyboard, overall a pleasure to use. If you are in the market for a budget laptop, I can't recommend this one (or the AMD version enough. Based on quality alone, I'm sold on Lenovo laptops and plan on sticking with this brand I'm the future.

Gaming greatness
This is an amazing laptop! I use it for gaming and so far so awesome! It runs smooth as butter and is such a contrast to my 9 year old laptop it replaced.

Perfect for my needs, arrived quickly, priced well
So far, so good! I really like this computer a lot. It does the basics really well, and runs the games I play nicely. I haven't given it a big test yet, but it's been super solid and well priced. Also, it arrived in about 4 days. Perfect.
Additionally, Lenovo was kind enough to extend a veterans discount to me. I'll certainly be back!

No battery life
When using it while not plugged in, (which is why I bought a laptop) the battery goes from 100 percent to the middle 30 percents in less than two hours. I definitely should have done more research before buying this thing.
