I purchased this laptop for work purposes, mainly, conferencing and administrative work and it works very well for this. My one complaint would be that the space between the "Num Lock" and Backspace keys is to close. I often find that when I intend to backspace, I instead hit the Num Lock key. This even though my laptop is large at 16'' and my fingers are delicate/feminine.

I'm really loving this laptop! The weight is great, the screen is beautiful and the speed is definitely an upgrade over my previous Lenovo which was almost 10 years old. The new Fn button takes some getting used to and I wish they had left the Home, End, Pg Up and Pg Dn buttons in the original place, I definitely use those more than media controls. But that's the only complaint I have and it's a small one. Great job Lenovo!

Generally speaking, I am content with the purchase of the IdeaPad Slim 5i. The sensitivity of the touch screen is a little off... just have to get used to it I guess. There are issues with Windows 11... but that's for Gates to hear.

The computer was easy to set up and transfer all of my info. It works really well with my embroidery software. It arrived really fast. I'm so happy with my new Lenovo.

My IdeaPad does everything I want it to do and then some. It's fast and easy to use. I highly recommend it. I should have treated myself to one years ago. When I asked my son about it before I purchased it, he said that it was the best computer he ever had. I agree with him and we have been using computer since the 90's.

Love it! Quiet smooth keyboard. Fast and can run multiple programs at the same time. The blue is pretty. Only con is it ends up with fingerprints everywhere on the outside

I am disappointed in the battery life, less than 3 hours. If I am doing a lot of work I have to plug it in to the charger. The fingerprint sign in worked when I first set it up but after a couple of times it did not work. I cleaned it with a soft cloth but that didn't work. I do like the size of the keyboard. Once I get use to a laptop I think I will like it better. Have always had a desktop.

My new Ideapad is fast, powerful and has just the right ports for my needs (HDMI and 2 USB-C). I wanted a machine powerful enough to do and with a large display, so I could edit my photos with Adobe Lightroom (a resource-intensive app). I got this laptop with 16GB of memory and 1TB storage, and so it has plenty of power for that work. The only significant issue I have with it is the jam-packed keyboard, because it includes a numeric keypad on the right. That's why the trackpad is towards the left of center, because *that* it centers on the "normal" keyboard. You should look at carefully at the laptop photos and decide if that works for you, because when you use this keyboard, your hands will always be pulled to the left as you're typing. I wish I'd been observant enough before I bought it, as I don't normally use a numeric keyboard. Also, in the 3 weeks I've had this laptop, I've seen short-term drop-offs in wi-fi at random times, but that seems to have stabilized. I don't believe it's my home network, but more a problem with a secondary wi-fi connector I added via USB.

The Lenovo Idea Pad Slim is working out perfectly for me. We are retired and travel full time so our passion right now is pictures. I wanted a laptop with a 1TB hard drive so I don't struggle with space when downloading and sorting pictures. It also handles my money tracking software and other Microsoft applications. So far, it's been a great purchase.
