I bought this laptop Lenovo Yoga 7i 16" 2022 from the official website in the USA, but now i have moved to INDIA. The webcam Quality is a very poor camera, it has the worst camera I have seen so far on any laptop, even after sitting in front of the laptop I can't even recognize face - images captured from the camera app. and in normal laptop usage 2-3 chrome tabs only, the laptop backside gets too heated, and beside the fan - heatsink pipe gets extremely hot(even in power saving mode), my previous laptop was also Lenovo(2016 model) but i had a great experience with it, but now I am upgrading to the premium series, I am having a poor experience with it. In normal usage at a room temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, the laptop battery gets heated to 45 degrees celsius-in normal usage in battery saving mode (shown in the Lenovo vantage app) My laptop is still under warranty- Lenovo please help me, solve this issue. Serial number- PF48QEHD product number-82QG0013US bios version-J1CN40WW please resolve camera issue and heating issue

Eventually had a Wi-Fi outage where the entire Wi-Fi disappeared. Went through a nightmare with repairs. Still a great computer.

I bought this laptop from Costco in early February, to replace a desktop, so I'm not chained to my desk...which is hilarious, because the terrible battery life prevents me from doing much when unplugged. The screenshots (attached) of daily battery life are mind-blowing. It's plugged in all day, then I unplug the fully-charged computer and sit in the living room to surf the web and organize photos on my hard drive (no photo-editing, literally just moving files around). From fully charged at 7 pm. to about 70% at 8 pm, to about 35% at 9 pm, to critical warning just before 10 pm, to shutting off due to dead battery at around 10. That's 3 hours of very light use. I would not even attempt to venture away from an outlet to do serious work (with my brand new computer). Then, amazingly, when plugged in (and not being used) at 10 pm, it doesn't reach a full charge until 9 am the next morning - that's 11 hours to charge. The computer has been pleasant enough to use, but this atrocious battery life makes that irrelevant - I'll be returning it soon.

I had (and continue to have) issues with the machine and graphics running slow and laggy when the charger is connected, confirmed with Passmark benchmark tests. The first tech support agent scanned my machine and informed me that there is no discrete graphic card and this machine does not support the Intel Arc370M card shown by the System Information. So he disabled the driver in the control panel. Needless to say, that didn't work. The second tech support agent I spoke to (Lena) told me it is normal for a laptop to run faster when on battery power compared to having the charger plugged in. Because it generates more heat when on the charger and slows the machine to compensate. Absolute nonsense and a waste of my time. The 3rd tech support guy attempted to reload all the drivers the 1st guy did. In the mean time, my case is listed as closed and resolved on the Lenovo website. Maybe you get lucky - I didn't.

I own another Lenovo computer that still works excellent so I thought I would buy another. I purchased the Slim 7 about 5 months ago. It took me about 2 1/2 months to find all of my program disks, install the software, backup my data from the old computer and install it on the Slim 7. I immediately started noticing that the computer was having some issues. By the time I realized what it was doing and I contacted Costco to return it, I missed the 90 day return window by 2 days. So the next 2 months, I spent countless hours on the phone with Lenovo support. I did diagnostics, troubleshooting, factory resets and reinstalls of the operating system. Each time I had to reinstall my programs and data. Lenovo sent out people twice to replace the keyboard, motherboard, cables and USB ports. They had me ship the computer to their repair center once. The problems still continue. I even bought a second identical computer and it had the identical problems so I returned it. After being torn apart so many times, now the computer is having new problems. The initial problem was that the left shift key, or the right alt key, or the right ctrl key will activate at random without being touched and they stay activated until I press them to be released. Once activated, whatever I type on the keyboard will result in pressing the keys as if the shift, alt, or ctrl keys are being pressed at the same time. Lenovo says that they will finally replace the computer, so hopefully I will get computer that functions properly. I wonder how many Slim 7 computers have the same problem since both of the ones I tried have the same problem. I afraid to receive another Slim 7 since so far I am 0 for 2.

All in all, the Slim 7i is a solid computer. I purchased this model after a lot of research, and I chose Lenovo again because my last laptop worked very well, but unfortunately my motherboard died. I use my laptop for my small business and to edit photos. I'm on the move a lot and I rely on good battery power, which my last ideapad had, 5 to 6 hours of actual battery power. My new Slim7i maybe gives me 3 solid hours, and this is while using the internet and editing photos. I haven't installed a lot of programs yet and I have not moved my old files to the new computer, yet. I've only had it a few days, but I'm considering returning it.

It's only been a couple months, but so far I don't really have any dislikes. Super quick shut down and reboot. Programs and browser opens quickly with speedy internet searches. Fingerprint reader is very responsive the first time. Sound is meh...but that wasn't a deal breaker. My deciding factor for going with the 16" vs 14" was the importance of the number pad. I do wish Lenovo would put a number pad on the smaller 14" because I'd like it to fit into my padded backpack easier and not be quite so large and heavy, but. The updated 16:10 display is very nice. Also love the backlit keypad and privacy shutter on the web cam. Some reviews mentioned fan noise, but I almost never hear mine running. Not had issues with screen glare. I read and watched MANY reviews and it paid off! I guess one disadvantage is the power cord plugging-in to the side USB-C port. I wish it at least was a 90, to keep the cord out of the way a bit and not feel the need to be so conscientious of not harming the port and keeping it on a hard surface when doing so to avoid flexing it. Hopefully this won't be an issue down the road. Battery life is awesome, so it's not that it needs to be plugged-in when "computing" off the table/desk surface frequently. No fun case color option :)

I bought this laptop about 45 days ago and since the beginning was horrible. To start, the resolution changes by it self. I am working and suddenly the brightness changes and comes back. The audio is just plain horrible, in one job interview my microphone just did not work. You can guess how that interview went. In a webinar the headphone jack just stopped working (had to grabbed my 9 year old MacBook to finish). If you are planning on using this for home office and on the go, just DON'T. Get a different laptop/brand. I invested in software and a few more things and too late to change or returned it, so I am stuck with this bad quality of a laptop for this year at least.

Although its size and weight make it a bit difficult to use at a tablet, the rounded corners and good tolerances make the laptop pleasant to handle. It's also one of the few laptops with a Wacom AES digitizer which is generally nicer than the usual N-Trig or MPP digitizer on most other devices, though a Wacom EMR digitizer like on Samsung products or Wacom tablets would be even nicer since the pen can be passive (i.e. battery-less). The display has good color reproduction + maximum brightness and the 1600p 16:10 display offers a good balance between pixel density and battery life unlike other 15-16" laptops which have 1080/1200p or 2160p (4K) displays. The models with an H series CPU and Arc GPU also have a sizeable 99.9 Wh battery (100 Wh is the highest FAA pre-approved lithium battery capacity you can bring onto flights) so the machine has long runtimes. If the Arc GPU drivers cause any problems or you want to further maximize runtimes, you can disable it in favor of the integrated graphics via the BIOS/UEFI. The M.2 PCIe SSD and WLAN module is replaceable but, unfortunately like most other consumer laptops, the RAM is soldered. My unit also had some QC issues with the trackpad which causes it to rattle at the bottom right. I tried asking Lenovo to send a trackpad unit so I can replace it myself but they refused and said it can only be sent in for repair which is really unreasonable when it's your primary computer.

WOW, for the most part. Screen/graphics is OUTSTANDING! And that is why I bought it, to see uploaded pictures of paintings so I would know what customers might see on our website. I needed to see the picture quality, even though I knew DPI and pixels, so reproductions could be purchased. The Lenovo Yoga 7i with high resolution graphics is right there! Downside: I'm not used to that keyboard, its shifted to the left because of the numerical keyboard on the right, otherwise it's the same size as my 4yo Lenovo. Switching back and forth I tend to reach too far to hit the enter key or backspace or delete keys and hit something else. I'll get used to it. Superfast. Great laptop.

I am loving this computer! It replaced my seven-year-old Lenovo that got me through college and grad school and has everything I need to get me started in my career! I use the 2-in-1 features often and appreciate the flexibility. I am also enjoying the fingerprint unlock feature. The only slight tweak I would make would be to have USB-C ports on both sides for added versatility.

This is my fourth Lenovo laptop purchase in the last six years. The previous purchase, ideapad 5, broke after the screen unhinged from the keyboard, Poor manufacturing. I have been using this model for more than three weeks. I selected this model for three reasons, quality of the screen - 2.5k, yoga feature - which is really nice but the touch screen does not always work as it should, and battery life. Overall I am satisfied but battery is really weak. The model is advertised to hold charge for 18 hours, but in reality it rarely does better than 5 hours. I am not a gamer or watch lot of videos, I just do my work, so I was expecting battery to work for at least 8 hours, which iis not the case.

I am thrilled thus far with this laptop and the value that it offers. The features, the display, and the processor have all impressed. If I had to nitpick one thing, it might be that the feel of the keyboard could perhaps be slightly better, but this is certainly nothing to complain about.
