I was pleased with this laptop's overall gaming graphics performance. Fast, snappy, great looks, etc. Fans get a little loud under heavy load, but not too bad. However, the laptop has two major issues: battery life and speakers. The battery life as described by the product states "Unleash unrivaled power with the Legion Pro 5 laptop and its massive 80Wh battery. Play, work and stream all day with confidence, and never be tethered to a power outlet again." Under light use--Excel work and occasional youtube streaming--and numerous settings set to maximize battery (reduced screen refresh rate, brightness, backlit keyboard off etc), it lasts only about 1hr and 40mins. This is a pretty stark contrast to "never be tethered to a power outlet again." The speakers are very poor. The sound that comes out is quite muffled, with voices hard to hear or distinguish. Installing some software to adjust this can help, however it still is very poor. If you plan to stay plugged in most of the time, and use headphones, then you'd probably be pretty pleased with this laptop's gaming performance. That was not what I was looking for in a machine (and not what the product descriptions indicated), therefore I am returning it. Lastly, the main issue I had was with customer service. I reached out to them about these issues, particularly the battery life which is obviously in stark contrast to the product's advertisement. They were completely unwilling to make any accommodations to my situation, despite the clear false advertising. Buyer beware that the customer service is very poor.

Awesome laptop with sharp and fast display, I bought the 4070 version, and it's not that big of a jump over previous 3070, but the difference increases at lower TDP, where the 4070 efficiency shines, the 7845HX is also an awesome CPU, but I would recommend Lenovo to include high end Ryzen 9 models, to cater to those with multi-core grunt needs, as I know from the duo 16 laptop that it gets the job done with more efficiency than the i9 CPUs. But for Gaming, it's a job well done, no complaints with regards to build quality and I would recommend it, maybe buy another one to gift my cousin when the price drops.
