I bought this machine because I needed a personal computer to take with me while traveling. I knew I was not buying the most powerful machine on the market, but having used it for over a month now, I will say its performance completely caught me off guard. Sure, it is NOT the fastest machine around, but honestly it cruises past every task that I have put it through: documents and spreadsheets, presentations, email, browsing, audio editing (reaper), graphics editing (GIMP, InkScape, LibreOffice Draw), and some light coding on Arduino and Python. It handled all of them well. Also, the battery life is awesome! I consistently get 6 to 8 hours of useful compute time on a single charge.

I purchased this laptop to use while traveling. It is nicely thin and light weight. The finger print log-in is very convenient. USB drives are appropriately spaced along each side edge of the base.

Since day 1 I have had issues with the computer not scrolling smoothly and being slow on low demand processes. Very slow computer. Fingerprint log in very inconsistent. Barely tolerable to use unfortunately. Regret decision.

I used to work for Lenovo so i am familiar with the quality of their products. I am so happy with my Ideapad. It's light, provides all the great features like touchscreen. 2 in 1 allows it to function like the Yoga with traditional keyboard or use it like a pad by folding it. Great product, great price. I love it.

I use the Lenovo IdeaPad for my businesses as well as for personal use. I have used/owned other brands through the years but my go to is Lenovo. They are "work horses" from my experience and they have longevity. I purchased the Idea Pad on the Lenovo website and received outstanding customer service, answering all my questions as I compared models. I received the Idea Pad within a couple of days of purchase. I don't use it for gaming, etc but I do work with several open apps concurrently in my work-and it really delivers both in speed and capacity. It's loaded with Windows 11 which I needed to transition to anyway, and I had to reorient myself to the new platform but not a big deal. The lighted keyboard is also a nice to have and the keys are not stiff like some I have used in the past. The 14" screen is a bonus for me, as I do some design work, I'm not sure that screen size would be ideal if you travel on planes and want to use it in coach, given reclining seat space.

Really happy with it! I've been using the IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 (14" Intel) for a bit now, and honestly, I'm super impressed. It looks really sleek in the Luna Grey color - simple but stylish. The 2-in-1 feature is super handy, especially when I just want to chill and watch something in tablet mode. Performance is great for everyday stuff - browsing, work, even a bit of light editing. It's fast, quiet, and the screen quality is pretty good too. Plus, it's lightweight enough that carrying it around doesn't feel like a workout, haha. I had an IdeaPad before and loved it. So, when my screen hinge broke and the screen cracked, I bought another one. I LOVE the Lenovo migrate feature. Everything migrated very easily from the old IdeaPad to the new one. And the price? Amazingly low!

I purchased this to replace my Surface Pro 6 whose battery was down to 1-2 hours of life. Before that, I had a Surface Pro 3. Both of them worked well for me despite some "quirks" which I had gotten used to. My review of the IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 is based on my comparisons to the Surface Pros. First of all, I like the larger 14" screen. Everything is a lot easier to see. The 2-in-1 function works every bit as well as my Surface Pro, and the hinges seem well constructed and sturdy. The keyboard works well, but the layout of some of the keys will take some getting used to. For example, the CapsLk key, right next to A, keeps getting hit. The lack of dedicated PgUp/PgDn and Home/End is a bit annoying, requiring the use of the Fn key to activate. (They share the same keys as the Arrow Keys. The fingerprint reader is giving me a bit of grief, but that may be me instead of the computer. I seem to have a problem position my finger in exactly the right spot in order to activate it. Again, that may be me. The touchpad works fine, although I sometimes seem to activate the right key mode when I am just using one finger or trying to click and drag. Again, that may just require a bit of practice on my part. Overall, after about a month of use, I am pleased with the purchase and buying it while it was on sale was a major plus. If you are looking for a good 14" 2-in-1, I would certainly suggest you look at the Lenovo IdeaPad 5i. I don't think you will be disappointed. I am giving it 4 stars mainly for my issues with the keyboard. Other than that, I am pleased.

I am not a technical person. I use the computer for emails, to watch videos, music, research, writing specific documents, and storage/save documents. At first I did not realize how small this would even though decided on this size. I feel the screen is a good size because the frame is very thin. This laptop is light making it easy to store. You can put it in a drawer if you do not want it sitting out. The keyboard is good but seems a bit far. I like that I can open the computer and it is on. I know I can cancel opening when lid is lifted but I prefer to keep it right now. I like that I have options to log in to my computer with either a pin or using fingerprint. The color of blue is nice kind of nice. It is like a steal dark gray blue. It comes with a pen. I do like using the pen. Although, I am not a fan of the pen holder. It really only holds the tip of the pen. I feel like the pen can easily break that way. You can either use the pen, touch the screen or use the keyboard. I like options. I also like that this is so flexible. I can leave it as the standard laptop or make it more like a tablet. I am really enjoying this laptop. So, again I am not technical and will not discuss speed (sometimes that depends on Wi-Fi provider). So, for people similar to me this may be helpful or not.

My Lenovo laptop is very well built and has some nice features. My favorite one is the fingerprint reader. It certainly speeds up logging in. I would recommend Lenovo to anyone.

Lenovo dropped the ball in delivery. Shipped immediately. first delivery attempt failed because it was long after dark and driver knocked on storage room door and left a note; five adults were inside but did not hear. he did not ring doorbell at front door. Next day they tried when no one was home in spite of being advised in advance. Delivery returned computer to Lenovo citing lenovo delivery restrictions. REFUND TOOK 3 WEEKS. COMPUTER NEVER REACHED ME. COMPUTER RETURN AND CONDITION WAS BEYOND CUSTOMER CONTROL. REFUND SHOULD HAVE INITIATED IMMEDIATELY WHEN SECOND DELIVERY ATTEMPT OCCURED. Second order was successful. Great Computer. Delivery was 3 or 4 days after order.

Decent and does not make a lot of sound. Poor quality camera and low microphone volume which makes video calls difficult. Would recommend for someone using it for basic use, not professional.
