I swapped out the DVD-RW for a 4K Blu-ray/RW and the machine is a full fledge 4K video editing powerhouse . The NVIDIA 2080 graphics card and i9-9900K with 32GB RAM make the unit highly capable.

The Lenovo Legion T730 has exceeded my expectations. I haven?t had a desktop tower in 15 years and prefer working with one over a laptop PC. I bought this not so much for gaming, but for content creation. I highly recommend it for either use.

T730 ?Rocket Power?

I wanted a proven, fast machine, I'm not to overclock to gain some frames for the new game, though it's great for Microsoft Flight Simulator, I use it as server for a Home Office, it's really fast and I can run regression algorithms really fast.

Fast computer and looks great, but does not have available PCIe slots. A bit of a bummer being a tower and all slots are used. Comes with 2 3.5" bays pre-wired and DVD slot is hidden.

Overall it is a great computer, but right out of the box it has lag issues that have not been addressed. Support was unable to identify the issue causing the lag and it is still an issue.

Sweet, but....

This is a very high end machine that does almost anything. I took it out of the box, hooked up a monitor and away we went. Everything works well. I use the machine for VR with the Oculus Rift S and it performs admirably.

Good overall performance so far! However, it does freeze randomly which seems to be a common issue I have read online with Lenovo providing no solution. Which for a $2000+ computer is disappointing

Lenovo T730

This is the second T730 that we have purchased this year.  The computer is fast and quiet.  It definitely meets my expectations.  The only problem is that the Wifi card is slow. In one computer, we have resorted to using a USB-wifi and I will be inserting an add-on card for wifi in the other.

Excellent components, room for upgrades, stays cool.  It's just eye candy, but the colors are great.  So far it has held up well to some intensive work-related programs as well as gaming.

Great machine covering every computing needs

For the sale price I paid the T730 was a bargain. I was pricing systems that had slower processors and GPU at the same or higher prices. 1 star removed for the 500w power supply and the cable management. So far it runs the games I have at the highest settings. The only problems are caused by the power supply barely being adequate for the 9900k with the 2080 Super. The case minimalist with just enough lighting for my taste. Shipping was fast and no damage.

Great gaming PC at a great price

I purchased this for the purpose of extreme streaming of data for trend trading. I have typically I have 40 to 70 windows open and at least  5 - 10 apps open as well. I have two 43 inch screens side by side giving me 86 inches of screen real estate. I've also been trying my hand on occasion with gaming with high end graphics intensive games. this unit does it all and a wonderful job of in general with at the moment nothing more than minor glitches that I'm hoping will be resolved over time and experience and exploration.
