It was easy to start up and transfer info from old to new. Easy to navigate through everything new and super fast, but old tower was 13 years old. This is my fourth Lenovo product and will be loyal forever.

The IdeaCentre 5i has a great Intel i5 processor at an attractive price. The first thing I did was install 32 GB of RAM, which was also not expensive. Now the machine awesome. I wanted a full desktop unit with a DVD read/write drive, a real network cable port for a hard-wired connection and plenty of USB ports for all the interfacing I do. There is not much in this price range that has these features. I do wish it came with Window 11 Professional instead of the Home edition. But that's a small quibble and I can upgrade if I choose to. This machine is a very quiet machine. I love the fact that all I can hear is a low hum. No whooshing fan. I like that there is not a bunch of bloatware loaded. I switched out the anti-virus, loaded Office 2021, set up Outlook and I am in business. I am very happy with this machine.

As a new replacement computer, it is great. All my old accessories connected easily and worked fine. With Windows 11, seamless to add my old programs and add new apps.

This is my third Lenovo. Overall, this system seems like good quality and great for general home computing. Will likely get an external hard drive since this model is only 512gb. The slim optical drive is a bit flimsy. Not a lot of slots or upgrades possible. OneDrive will upload personal files to cloud automatically which I'm not a fan of. Disabling OneDrive is kind of hidden but needs to be done prior to transferring data from a different device. Kind of think this should need to be enabled instead of disabled.

Noisy fan! Whether scrolling through a browser, it seems that any stress on the system causes the fan to kick on and it is noisy. Other than that, there isn't much to pick on with this machine. Fast, plenty of connections available, and not bad on the eyes.

This desktop computer is affordable and comes with decent specs. It fit the bill for our restaurant managers office PC. so far, no issues!

Replaced an 11 year old Lenovo desktop. Powerful desktop, fast processing, smaller than my old Lenovo looks and performs nicely. We all use Lenovo computers in our family due to their dependability.

Very quiet, very fast, built-ins (graphics, sound) are quite good. Set up was very easy. I encountered a minor problem and staff was very friendly and very helpful, the problem was quickly resolved. This is the 3rd Lenovo computer, plus some tablets & phone. I can recommend the company

I believe that the Idea Centre 5i (Intel) is the best computer I've found. Very easy to use and very reliable. This is my second Lenovo computer and didn't even think about trying another brand.

I needed an upgrade from my 10 yr old W10 desktop (which was starting to freeze up). I bought my wife a IdeaCenter 3i and it worked very well. So when I started looking for an upgrade, I found the 5i model -- and it is perfect. It is quiet and very fast for what I need and all of my files and software were quickly transferred over to it. It is a great machine -- and I have been using desktop PC for over 35 years.

The many desktop computers I've bought in the past have made it easy to install things like hard disks, but this one needs a special caddy to hang it from the optical disk mount. Guess I'll have to bend up some "tin" can metal to hold my 5 inch hard disk.
