The MTP 540 Is a winner

I've been a Lewitt mic owner for years. The MTP 540 DM was my introduction to the Lewitt mic family. I'm a producer/songwriter/vocalproducer. I originally started using the MTP 540 as a mic we could hand around during writing sessions. I thought it would be great for laying melodies down. I quickly realized that this mic was in a league of its own. My co-writer sang the first verse on a demo for Little Mix. when it was time to cut the second verse I moved her to what was at that time my go to recording mic to cut the rest of the record. It was a $7500 mic so I figured it has to be better but it wasn't. The MTP 540 has a crisp warm presence that just sucks you in. I use it for everything now. Live, rehearsals, recording. It's a winner. At my studio everyone from El Debarge to Austin Mahone has sang on this mic. Everyone loves it. I think you'll agree. It's one of the most versatile mics you'll ever own. You don't have to take my word on this.

One of the best handheld mics on the planet
